Horrible customer service. I paid and mailed my bill, which I am sure the postmark showed. It took like 13 days to get from LA to AR, which has never happened before but, C& L did post my payment to the wrong account once.
When I called to see why I received a shut off notice, the lady on the phone (wish I had gotten her name) was super rude when I ask if she could remove the $3:50 late fee.
You would have thought I paid my bill late all the time but, that is not the case or that I was asking her to write off the entire bill. She very rudely told me they NEVER write off late fees and that they were not responsible for the post office. That it did not matter when I mailed my bill or what happened, that if it was late you pay the late fee no matter what.
Stupid policy if that is what it is because, there are things that happen that are beyond your control at times.
This is the worst customer service I have seen with a company in years. C&L, you may want to rethink how you handle your custo er service. A 2.3 star review is NOT something g to be proud of!

I've been without power/heat since Thursday morning (4:00am). I've been upset and frustrated to say the least. I woke this morning in extreme pain and wasn't feeling my best self. I called C & L Electric to see about an update on restoring our power. I spoke with a wonderful lady named Sue. She could tell I was in pain and was frustrated. She couldn't help with my power but her kindness was at top of any chart. I know she's having some rough days too. She took time to talk to me and ask if she could do anything. She answered my cry for understanding and was so kind. I want everyone to know we all have troubles, just to have someone listen to me made me feel better. God Bless You Sue for being so kind and gracious.

Bad business the people that works there are money laundry they are getting out on people by getting extra money. They don't care if you came in and paid 300 or 400 on the bill next month bill 500 so to me it's a scam they doing there at that company if someone knew and they get the FBI involved this company would be underground

C&L are scam artists. They won't let you change customers names without turning the power off and back on to charge you a connection fee. Horrible service.

I hate that this is the only electric provider for m moms location. she is 72 years old and has been in the dark for over a week, because of the storm....now she's been told that there is another outage due to trees still falling. I live 500 miles away and this is so uncomfortable to have to worry about your loved ones with no good communication from ANYONE at this company. I'm so disappointed in how the company views their clients as just monthly payments and not HUMAN BEINGS!!!!!

Candles and lanterns is what C&L stands for since your electric goes out all the time. Then they want to charge you 500$ a month. Never paid over 200$ with entergy. Crooks and Thieves. Worst company ever.

What a joke this company is. After lights being out for 3 day. A call from them saying lights has been restored. Lol. No lights was restored. When trying to call to report it. Only a recorded message was all you could get. That's because they think your not impotent enough for them to have to speak with. A normal. A lot of the outage on 6-18-19. Was because of pour maintenance on there part. According to the other companies that had to come and help. They say they always hate coming here to fix there patch work. But don't worry. You will be charged for the no answered calls. The days with no power. On top of all the money we had to spend for gas, generator power cords and everything else. While C&L crews started at 9 in the morning and went home at 4 and 5 in the evening. Trust me all you have to do is watch your Aug bill. It will be outrageously HIGH. That because you will be paying for things that should have been done a log time ago to the lines. That they wait on big storms to come in. Were they can get out of town crew's to help repair the line. Something they won't do themselves. But we all still will have to pay for it again. On top of the light bill you all ready received. Like to gas change they charge every month. They don't even check the met or anymore. Why do they charge still for this. Well that enough venting and letting the cat out of the bag. On the company. Maybe someday the will get a group of people over there that really understands about costomer care. Instead of just getting over on the costomer for a change. Oooh and like I said. Watch your bill. And see if what I said doesn't happen in August about your bill going sky high. Like i said. This company is and always will be a joke. But what can you do about it. Good day.......
