Just a fantastic place if you need a pit stop or even a weather hold. Amenities are fantastic. Good lounge with a crew car, and a convenience store and several restaurants in walking distance.
If you overnight here I don't think I'd take a chance on the motels, but I don't know, check the reviews and decide for yourself.
There are some awesome airbnbs downtown that happen to be next to a pretty decent bar.

Airport is great for fuel stop and walking distance to food. The new FBO building has everything a high priced competitor has such as crew car, wifi, shower, sleeping room, pilot's lounge, coffee and water, and a viewing area. However, it's hard to put a price on good customer service and Randy goes the extra mile. The 5 star rating is more for the customer service as without it the FBO would just be another building.

If I could award a 6-star rating here, I would. I was recently planning a cross country for a flight of 6 DA40NGs, and we decided to stop about midpoint for the restroom and fuel. Right in the midpoint was M70, which also happened to be approved by our company's SOP, and listed M70 as a 24/7 location. Believing this to be a typo, I called to confirm if they could take the 6 of us at 18:00 in the evening. Without hesitation Randy, the airport manager, assured us that he would be happy to have the fuel truck ready and awaiting our arrival at any time. Upon arrival, he was there with us on a handheld from the ramp to provide parking instructions and ensure we were taken care of. Also, the Mayor of Pocahontas and the Airport Commissioner also met our group, and made us feel like the talk of the town! The facilities were perfect, and the fuel service was fast! The terminal is right on the main road through town, with a BBQ restaurant and a service station literally on the field. Must stop!

My brother and I stopped here on a cross country trip ferrying a plane. The Staff are friendly and helpful and bend over backwards to make sure you are accommodated. We spent over an hour chatting with the airport manager, who wanted to make sure we had a great stop at his airport.

No AVGAS available on March 26, 2023, fuel tank was too empty for the pump to pick it up. A NOTAM is always appreciated. Very nice FBO facility inside.
