LOVED IT!! Super nice owners...9 of our family members including 5 children between the ages of 3 to 12 stayed at the Rocky Shoals Cabin on the River and had a great time! The cabin was very well kept and clean. The grounds were beautiful - included two fire pits, washers, horse shoes, tether ball, and a park in the front lot! The river was clear and view from the cabin was great!

We have stayed in House 1 twice over the last two years and LOVE the place. The place was spacious and the owner was friendly. We enjoyed the river view and all the amenities in the house. The house was clean, well-stocked with towels and kitchen-ware. We especially enjoyed visits from Bowser, the owner's dog.

The house was clean and very much like home. Huge front yard and back yard that slopes down to the river. Kids had fun wading in the shallow water ( I recommend pool shoes or flip-flops for the rocky riverbed ) and catching minnows, frogs, and such then releasing them. Very peaceful. Beautiful stars at night and lots of Summer fireflies. Nearby Mt. Ida has a grocery store and a couple of dollar stores to grab a few quick things that you may have forgotten. Not a very long drive to see things in Hot Springs as well.
