Incredibly unreliable with the added bonus of having wasted our time over weeks. First, we scheduled a walk-through of our art collection which seemed to go fine. We were told we’d have an estimate in a few days. We gave them a window of when we needed the art moved. We were told they could store it or take it to our own storage facility. The whole point was that we wanted our collection stored and protected by professionals while we remodeled. After half a dozen phone calls requesting the estimate and a date they’d be coming, we were told they couldn’t fit our paintings in their storage and would call us back “by end of day” to schedule. They never called back. We were told “by end of day” by at least three different people over three weeks. We gave up and had our regular movers move and store our collection. Never ever use this company full o the worst kind of clueless, unprofessional people who make promises they don’t keep.

I've been waiting for a old family heir loom dinette set to be shipped from Salt Lake City to Central Texas now for 6 weeks and I have left phone calls and emails and have not had a return on either in almost two weeks and each time I keep getting told next week. I live in Texas too and am getting quite frustrated to say the least . Don't know what the situation is but I sense no sense of urgency. This situation has been resolved. Feel better today.

i sold a big item on eBay and decided to have these guys crate it up and ship it. They came the same day and picked it up. I was given a quote and told about 1 week. 7 days went by and I called for an update. Still sitting at the location. Called 2 days later. Still there. 2 days after that still there. Had to call the franchise to finally get things moving. Got an email asking for a phone number of the receiver because it couldn't ship without it. But should have been collected at the time of pick up. Within an hour I emailed it back. 2 days later it still hadn't left and I got a return voicemail arguing that it was my fault for not supplying a number even though I had email proof they got it. 2 weeks later it finally shipped. For $100 more than my original quote. 1 week later than told. And with a pissed off eBay customer on the other side. I asked for at least a discount to the original quote and was told they wouldn't because they did everything right. Do yourself a favor, and find someone else. Unless you enjoy this kind of headache.

I purchased a piece of equiptment on on ebay , I called craters and freighters in Utah and contracted for them to pick it up. They picked it up , crated it and shipped it and everything went smooth . Pleasure to deal with and reasonable. Very happy!!!!!

We needed to ship a harp. We contacted Craters and Freighters who assured us they knew how to crate and ship a harp and reassured us they had done so several times. You see, harps are heat sensitive and this was in August. The bid was comparable to their competitor's and they said they would be willing to crate it for us for an additional charge (we would have to crate it ourselves if we were to use their competitor). This was on a Tuesday. They assured us it would be crated and on its way by Friday of that week - and also said they would most likely air freight it. We took our harp to them, made payment -- and then the troubles began. These people cannot manage to get anything shipped as promised.

Friday I called to see if the harp had been shipped. It had not even been crated. The entire next week I continued to call them - and was forced to listen to the owner whine and yell at me because he could not take responsibility for his inability to get the harp shipped - or even prepared for shipping. Eventually his secretary called (his secretary, who is probably his mother, is just as rude and obstreperous as he) and said they wanted more money for shipping my harp. The owner got on the phone and told me he had no idea that harps were heat sensitive and it was going to cost more to ship it. I insisted they ship it for the contracted price - reminding him that they had assured me they were experienced in shipping harps when they made their bid and we had talked about it at length with him when we had dropped off the harp. More whining and rudeness from him. It was like trying to deal with a large and grumpy 4 year old. He eventually agreed to ship it for the contracted price. Then they double charged my account and I had to call them and deal with their complete and total rudeness as I worked through getting them to cancel the duplicate charge. It took them three days to fix the overcharge. Another week passed - no harp shipped.

Eventually the harp was shipped and he did do a good job packing and protecting my harp. Would I use this business again? NO!!!! They are not timely and once they have your money they become completely rude and will yell at you for their shortcomings. They will double charge your account if you give them a charge card - and then be complete jerks about the error they made. They lie. They did not ship as promised (not even close), it was not air freighted, and I do not believe they had ever before shipped a harp. Do not give this company your business or you will most assuredly regret it.

Initially, I thought this would be an amazing idea. They quoted a time frame and a price that was livable. A month later and an increase in the price my shipment arrived. The offered to send tracking info and to let me know when it was on it's way but did neither. I had to pick it up from a warehouse that did not know its whereabouts, so after a couple hours wait in 100+ degree weather I finally obtained my shipment....a far cry from door to door.
