Stayed here for the Thanksgiving Holiday! Came to visit my family in my home town. Hotel is under new ownership and rooms have been upgraded. My stay was pleasant new beds new furniture bathroom was so clean. Way more comfortable than the last owners. The owners are very nice and courteous. If you happen to be in the Hazlehurst area I would recommend it the new owners are continuing to make it look good. Prices are reasonable.

My love and I are long distance and this is where we stay for two to three days when I come down at least once a month! I make our room more personalized for us by bringing my own comforter and long sized pillows. Some rooms are better than over and I wish they would drop the price down for someone who comes so often but oh well I enjoy staying here it is close to his home and work! We will be back until we purchase a home together in the area!

I'm big on customer service and their customer service was great. The lady was so pleasant and easy going. Also the next day the guy who was on duty was really helpful with helping and explaining how 3rd party charges worked, was helpful with get me what I needed to get the charge off and offered help with guest with kids above me making a lot if noise. The only thing some ppl my complain about it's being a older hotel but it's great for what it is. I'm a trucker and it a place for 1 maybe 2 night to lay your head. I'm satisfied. Don't expect Hilton Garden Inn. Keep up the great customer service.

One of the worst places I ever stayed the room needed a complete upgrade. The scent was awful as someone had vomited behind the bed move the nightstand it was full of dirt spread was old and stained lightings was terrible sheets dingy overall horrible. Lobby closed no breakfast false advertisement. Not enough towels for two.

We visited Copiah County when our daughter began Teach for America in Hazlehurst. We didn't make a reservation ahead, because we wanted to "eyeball" the hotels available. I'm sure we would have found more upscale lodging in Jackson, but we wanted to be close by. The Western Inn Express caught our eye because it was busy, usually a good sign. Check in was easy, the price was right ($58 for one night, 2 double beds). The air conditioner worked fine, the TV too. The bathroom was not so great, but again adequate for a one night stay. The shower didn't drain well, so the tub was slick (no treads). The towels were cheap, but did the job. There was a continental breakfast, but by the time we went down on Sunday morning at 9:15 it was gone. We hadn't planned to eat there anyway.||||Overall, I wouldn't want to vacation here, but the facilities are fine. It was clean, no bugs, and the other guests were quiet.

This place is just dirty. The sink and tub were ok, the toilet was iffy and the walls and couch were nasty. The pillows are flat as pancakes and there was one outlet by the bed but no nightstand on that side. The outlet near the table isn't tight enough to hold a two prong plug. It loks like it hasn't been vacuumed in a few days. Trying to find a decent place at a fair price is a crapshoot nowdays.

Not much of a savings at $58.00 plus per night. Parking lot is a muddy disaster and very small. Check in was polite friendly and fast. Room was muggy hot and dark. Took well over an hr to cool off. Shower was Luke warm at best and water was very slow to drain meaning we stood in dirty bath water through the shower. People hanging outside all night so rest wasn't really an option. 9:45 am room svc BANGS on my door and asks me "Is You Stayen Hur ? Well I answered the door so I'm guessing yes ! According to my watch it's not 11am yet and I closed the door. Through the door I hear You Ain't Gotta Be So Fing Mean ! My wife was a key to hear it and she was clear across the room by the sink. I called the manager and they came to the room, confronted the house keeper in front of me on the side walk. After they left we took about 20 pic's so they can't say we ruined anything out of anger. We left and the rude maid walked str8 to our room. No surprise there.

AC took all night to get cold first night. Doesn’t put on fitting sheets. Couldn’t get tv to work first night. Shower curtain and wall was dirty. Bottom sheet dirty. KFC/TB sucked. Couldn’t get our order right.
