Needed to have a car shipped overseas. They were unable to find a transport company to pick the car up and deliver to Port, after weeks of waiting. Decided to cancel the booking with USG and found another company. Communication with this company is the worst. Selina will lie at the drop of a dime. I am so glad we saw the red flags and decided to go else where.

USG has been taking care of my shipping needs to west Africa for a few years now. I have honestly been happy with them so far. Sam is a great guy and very knowledgeable in this business. He will clearly and properly explain every step of the way whether you like or not because I think they don't believe in lying to customers. And Selina is all about business. I am currently working with USG (Sam & Selina). This is my first time shipping overseas and I received a few quotes from other companies but decided to go with USG. We are still in the process but I could not wait to write this review because they are very knowledgeable, honest and patient. Being miles away from USA, I am so glad that I chose to use USG service for shipping a HC 40ft container and a separate pallet from USA to Africa, after contacting few other companies. Everything was done smoothly and promptly online and via email, from my first contact to delivery at destination. My experience with US General Shipping was nothing but stellar. Sam walked me through every step of the process by being diligently forthcoming, honest and transparent. The rudest and most ill-mannered people I have ever known in my life, the owner behaves in a lowly patronizing way !!!! I am sure people who are writing good reviews about USG are the owner's close friends and not his real custumors. I have spent half day in usg office and I was treated condescendingly. Would definitely not recommend anyone working for this lowly company neither do I recommend using it for shipping services.
