I'm not sure which branch of UPS this should go to, but I was expecting a delivery of overnight, next-day, time-sensitive medication to be delivered yesterday. All updates indicated it would arrive yesterday on time (even with confirmation that it was at the Alexandria delivery facility). I have had UPS deliveries close to 10pm before, so it has not been unheard of to have a late delivery. At 9:53pm on Saturday, UPS notified me that my package was going to be delayed until Monday with no explanation other that a "flight delay" (even though the package was in Alexandria where I live). I contacted UPS's customer service and they tried, to no success, to call the UPS warehouse on Sunday for an emergency pickup. Now it is very likely that the cold pack keeping the medication fresh is likely going to run out and make the medication useless. UPS's inabilities to work on a Sunday (outside of their customer service, who I give credit to for interacting with me at a frustrated time) for an emergency make it an unfit organization to ever handle any medication or any other time-sensitive materials. This is on CVS as well for trusting UPS, knowing that the medication would be at risk for lapsing under their care.
