Engage in unethical and illegal business practices. Hijacked my freight over a past due bill which belonged to a former employer and for which I was absolutely not responsible. Extorted me several thousand dollars before they would release the load which they illegally parked in their storage yard. The entire process was an elaborate ruse orchestrated from the highest echelon within the organization. I paid the ransom to get my cargo released. I had an absolute claim against the company but preferred to pay the ransom to pursuing legal action. In the end it was cheaper to pay them off.
