Here is an update after 6 Months,

This company has ignored every request they confirmed to make. Keeps billing me for imaginary services. Refuses to close account even if the bills are payed.

Stay away AT ALL COST. They will not remove you as a costumer once you are there and there is no way to close the account once you are done with the service.

CONTINUES TO CHARGE UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES.

It was ok for software. Had excessive steps for storing and managing. Would not recommend if you have a lot of SKUs. And saw no really savings with better rates under their system as I managed my own inventory.

More importantly I attempted to close my account in November 2023 as my business shipped its last shipments before closing on the 11th. Without notice of my account manager leaving I had to follow up again on my own with some else in December to attempt a close. It took 3 weeks in which I was confirmed my account was closed and I would not be charged and further as of Dec 27.

I was proceeded to be charged in January and February for a “management” fee. Over $500. They cannot apparently just refund a credit card so the process for a refund is 3+ weeks.

As I continue to demand and work with the excessive refund process 2x no one could confirm the closing of my account. And now as I continue to ask for the confirmation they now want to charge me fees for “storage” and donation of inventory from their warehouse that they never had from January and February in which the account should’ve already been closed.

Absolutely horrible customer service as it is now March and this is still not wrapped up AND continuing to try to charge me for unauthorized charges or fees.

Would not recommend.

Shipbob almost singlehandedly caused my business to shut down due to their incompetent team and lies. We used them during one of our biggest features with GMA. They quoted us specific rates based on data we provided from a previous GMA feature. We knew what the top performance zones were and the weight limits each package would be to ensure there would be no surprise costs.

Boy were we misled. We shipped them 30k products and on the day of the sale we watched as orders were being shipped for 2x's the amount they had quoted us. The $7 and $9 rates quoted were magically changed to $17-$22 per order and we couldn't do a thing about it! It was gut wrenching to watch.

We made over six figures from the national sale but more than 60% of the profit went to Shipbob. We stopped payment on the last debit that was set to come out for $10k to try to salvage our profit but they threatened to sue us if we didn't pay it.

We had customers with damaged orders that Shipbob didn't replace as they said they would. Customers were receiving their orders in regular manila Office Depot envelopes and it was embarrassing to have such a big opportunity mishandled by a 3PL that came highly recommended to us as a small business.

Needless to say we paid the $10k to get our products back and we have since opened our own warehouse and now do our own fulfillment to make sure we are never hustled or strong armed like this again. Our situation was pushed up to the CEO and we got on a call with him and he offered no help at all. He gave an empty apology and said he'd make sure this never happened again. Which did NOTHING for us. We barely made it through this atrocity and almost had to close our doors but gratefully we were able to pivot and come back stronger from this lesson.

If you are reading this, please do not use this company. We know other brands who currently use them and are BLEEDING money left and right because of the fees and shipping rates. This is NOT a feasible resource for small businesses, this is a dark money pit that will swallow up your capital and make you their employee because you will essentially be selling products just to afford their services. Nothing is ever their fault and there is no accountability or justice.

Don't walk. Run away from Shipbob!

This company has been scam after scam. First they gave me a very good quote on shipping prices to win my business and agreed to zero receiving fees. Then they started raising my prices within just a few months and charging me for receiving fees without notifying me. Some shipping charges ended up over 4 times higher than the quotes. Then they took customer returns and put them back on the shelves and shipped used products to new customers without ever notifying me. Then I called twice after all the horrible experiences to cancel my account. I did a return shipment to retrieve the rest of our company's inventory and they sent back a box of spilled and damaged products with no packing materials whatsoever and it was a scrambled box of unusable, broken items. I filed a claim to be reimbursed for the damaged inventory and they never responded or refunded me. Not only that but they messed up at least 1 out of every 10 shipments to customers. They also raised prices to $45 for priority shipping in the US for an 8 ounce small 6x3x4 inch box, after they said it would only be $5 above standard shipping charges for priority shipping. They never refunded me for products that they lost or damaged, even when I made claims. They never closed my account even after being called twice about it and have charged me for storage and membership fees 4 months after I requested my account closed. They still haven't replied to any of my claims. They just do a terrible job, take your money and continue to charge your credit card even when they are providing no service after your account was closed. This company's business model is designed to profit by screwing over small companies. Do NOT use this company.

This place ZERO stars. Customer service is horrible. Even working for the company isn’t worth it. Jada is rude and only about the warehouse, not employees. The operations manager is a very unprofessional. Inventory is a horror show. Please go to another shipping company. All 3rd parties are not good nor worth the stress.

I am extremely disappointed with the service. I am a current customer and I have 750 orders that haven't been shipped and are still in exception with not even a date to ship, and no answers from the support team. They keep saying I will get an answer but no one is answering, and the only option given so far is to edit manually each one.
