I had a really bad experience with Smart Ship, to be honest. During the initial estimate, the quoted price was significantly cheaper than what I was actually charged when it came time to ship— the cost increased by about 40%. Additionally, I had to wait over a month for my boxes to even be shipped. Once they were finally shipped, I was told they would arrive within 7–14 days, but in total, I ended up waiting around 40–50 days.

Despite the unexpected delays and price increase, the company didn’t offer any form of compensation, such as a discount or alternative shipping options. Their lack of accountability and poor communication were extremely frustrating. I’m very disappointed with their service, and if you’re considering using them, be sure to clarify all costs and timelines upfront to avoid a similar experience.

I highly recommend using ShipSmart for your future moving needs. Having moved crossed country for the first time, ShipSmart was accommodating and responsive to our (many) questions and estimate updates as our move date neared. ShipSmart was unique compared to other moving companies, as they did not lock us into a minimum or maximum moving estimate, but remained flexible, waiting until after our shipment was picked up and on its way before giving us the grand total. They were able to provide immediate location updates once our shipment was on its way, and worked with reputable and professional local moving companies on both ends of our move (Washington, DC to Seattle). All of our shipment arrived without damage, and they wrapped and unwrapped all of our furniture for extra protection. Great group to work with, during what can be a very stressful time!

A trusted moving company recommended me to Ship Smart for my moving services from Houston TX to Phoenix AZ. They picked up all of my things from Houston and packed it on 2 pallets according to the weight of each box. They built a crate around the boxes and wrapped it a bunch of times with padding and extra security! We had a 65 in TV and a 50 in TV and about 30 boxes... NOT ONE THING WAS BROKEN OR DAMAGED!!! Me and my wife are soooo impressed with everything. They answered every question as I was super nervous getting my whole life shipped from one state to another... I recommend Ship Smart to anyone I know. 10 out of 10!!!!

SHIP SMART is a Disaster of a moving company despite all the Hype and fake Reviews...A single furniture already picked from Easton PA to Seacoast area of NH takes 4 weeks, 30 phone calls confirming arrival if white Glove delivery and 4 changes in scheduled delivery ...End result ....still waiting for delivery ...It tells me very poorly organized!!!!

Awesome experience. I talked to real people at each turn, and they answered any and all questions I had regarding my furniture shipment to Hawaii. Pick up was great, and the crew they had was fabulous! My items got to their destination sooner than expected, I was very happy. Would use again!

I used Ship Smart to move my things from Brooklyn in NYC to Denver, CO. For me (I had a 5x5 storage unit worth of things), it was very economical and they did a great packing and shipping job. None of my items were broken, and they put this hardcore felt lined paper around your furniture that's pretty awesome. The company showed up on-time for the move and were very responsive. I would use them again.
