Started off pretty good, got a very reasonable estimate and seamed very professional. A team of guys showed up at the house and started packing up our stuff. Once they left was probably the end of the professionalism. We never got much for updates and response to emails. Until it came time to pay the bill, they responded much faster. The bill was about $700 more than the estimate. The bill I was told several times included reassembly of anything that was taken apart in the moved which did not happen. I reached out multiple times about this and no one got back to me. We were also missing parts of furniture, so I reached out again. Two weeks later got a response they had found it. We had already replaced what was missing at a price of $200. I sent out one last email seeing if they could do anything for us. Have yet to receive a response. I would not use this company again.

⭐THANK YOU Royal Alaskan Movers ⭐ for moving my family and saving my husband's back! After a fast paced move, the majority of my belonging were stuck in storage. After a call to Royal, we were able to get everything moved in a few hours! The crew was prompt and extremely courteous and careful with all our belongings! Scheduling was fast as well. I called and they came out the next morning! We were moved in less than 4 hours! I would give 10 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was scammed by another company and had to find new movers last minute. Every step of the way Royal Alaskan Movers took care of My concerns and My belongings. The unpacking team were excellent. I will never go with another company for My moving needs.

Best moving company experience I’ve had! From my first initial zoom call with Diana to our stuff being delivered was so professional. Diana had great communication with me and always answered my emails. We moved from Montana to Alaska and both sets of movers were kind and so gentle with our stuff. I have lots of antiques and breakable stuff and nothing was broken or damaged. They even moved our camper trailer for us. I was very impressed on how they treated and handled our furniture and boxes, with care. All our stuff was loaded on a semi and stayed on the same truck the whole way up. The mover guys on the Alaska end were very kind as well and very professional. Diana’s quote was so close to our actual pounds we had and we were thankful for that. They were less money than other movers I had contacted too. They sure made our move so much easier and less stress. I am so thankful for them!

I hired them to move from Anchorage to Wasilla. Everything seemed great at first when I called. We set up a time for a zoom meeting so I could walk them through everything that needed to be moved in my house, got a quote, and set up a moving date. I was really happy at that point with the company. The day before the move, I called the company asking what time they would be showing up the following day as I had not received a courtesy call. The response from the lady that answered the phone was “you DID receive a courtesy call” with what I perceived as a snappy attitude. I told her I had not as I had no missed calls and no voicemails that day. She said she would have someone contact me by the end of the day to let me know what time the movers would be showing up in the morning. They never called. The morning of the move I called the company again asking what time the movers were showing up, and they said in 15 minutes. The 2 guys that showed up to move my belongings were good. No complaints with them at all. But towards the end of loading everything up they informed me that they would not be able to load my large tool box that day as they did not bring the right equipment to do so. This item was one that I had described and even shown the company during the zoom call originally, so it’s not like the size of the item was a surprise. They said that they would have someone come by the following day and pick up the toolbox and deliver it to my new address for no additional cost. I told them that I had to work that day and would therefore be unable to be at the old house for them to pick it up, and would need to arrange for a friend to be at the new house so the tool box could be put into the garage. I specifically asked that they give me a call when they come to pick up the toolbox (I rolled it outside for them to grab when I left for work) so that I could coordinate with my friend to meet them at the new house. They came and picked up the tool box (no phone call), dropped the toolbox off in the driveway at my new house (no phone call), and left it outside while it was pouring rain. No communication whatsoever from the company. I called them that evening and left them a voicemail asking about the status of the toolbox as I had again not gotten a phone call from them and was very frustrated, and never got a phone call back. It wasn’t until I had a friend swing by the new house that night that I found out it was delivered. It is a very nice tool box filled with a lot of nice tools, and I felt it unprofessional to dump such an item in my driveway with not so much as a heads up.
I am less than pleased with the overall experience with this moving company and will not be using them in the future, or recommending them to friends and family in the future.

I am so impressed with Royal Alaskan Movers. From the start, they were far more professional than other moving companies I contacted. They didn’t spam call and harass me for their service. Diana and I had a video call to go through my home and discuss the move. We were moving from Wasilla to Seward.

She gave me a quote lower than the rest. Because of that and the professionalism from the start, we decided to go through with Royal.

The movers showed up in the window of time we were given. There were two movers, and they were both so nice. We didn’t feel judged. They weren’t grouchy. There was limited space in the new home to store our stuff as the current tenant hadn’t moved out yet, and the movers were able to fit everything perfectly into the space we had. It was honestly impressive. They were gentle with my treadmill and dining table, which were the two most important things to me. They complimented how much husband had disassembled the furniture and staged it in the garage. Just really nice people.

When it came time to make payment, the final amount was within the quote we were given.

I’m so glad we chose Royal Alaskan and would highly recommend it to anyone. It made a hard thing a lot easier.

We used Royal Alaskan Movers to bring our belongings from a shipping container to our home in the foothills above Anchorage. They sent a great crew who worked a long day getting everything unloaded, boxes and furniture in the right rooms, and they assembled multiple furniture items.
I can't thank this company enough! Everyone was great to work with, from the people in the office who helped with set up, to the crew who did the heavy lifting. Five stars, I will definitely be using them again for my future moving needs!

Brad and his team of professionals performed to the highest caliber that can be expected! Our move was from Wasilla, Alaska to Houston, Texas, household items and one vehicle. They gave me an accurate ETA and kept me updated throughout the move. We shipped two pickup trucks to Tacoma, Washington and made a 6 day drive to Houston. Timing was absoutely perfect, got into a temporary rental and two days later our stuff arrived. The crews on both ends were awesome, very enjoyable working with them. Of course, most folks have anxieties about damage and lost items no matter who performs the move. Not a single item was damaged and everything was accounted for. Big shout out to Royal Alaska Movers, you guys are true professionals! And that Brad Chapman fella is a real scholar and gentleman! Can’t end this review without mentioning Chase Chapman, a big thank you for all you did for us! All the best to entire staff.
