Had aeven trucks waiting all day to be loaded with Lumber. I was one of them. They promised to load today after it stopped raining and after waiting ALL DAY, when it stopped, they said “no loading today; go home.” Extremely unprofessional and poorly ran.

Do not book a lumber load out of this facility unless you’re willing to wait all day to get loaded. My truck arrived at 9am and it’s 7pm and he’s still not loaded. There is no sense of urgency here and no it is not about the influx of freight, the workers just simply aren’t doing their job. There’s no organization and horrible management.

Map was at incorrect location - twas close. Look for a long straight road with guard shack in the middle of the street & port crains in the background.

I’m a delivery driver. The guards are usually polite and courteous. One time though there was one black female who was overly suspicious of me for what I don’t know. I was delivering boat supplies to a pushboat. She followed me to the boat and watched me as I unloaded the boxes and handed them to the deckhand. Weird.
On an unrelated note the street you turn at off the main highway is easy to miss. Look at my pictures of the sign.

This place is also called the county docks or east docks.
