A bit of a problem with whoever runs the facility at the 20144 Bedford Rd. Renting the storage unit was no problem for about a year however, when it came time to move, I rented a PODS container and I called and asked WAY ahead of time to see if I could get it delivered and stationed there so I could move stuff out of my storage unit efficiently. The person I talked to on the phone said it was ok, no problem. So I get the POD container delivered and not TWO days after I get a phone call from the pacawaystorage facility at the address I listed earlier because apparently, they failed to communicate whoever runs that facility and that guy apparently has a problem with the said container. He THREATENED me to have the container that I RENTED from another company hauled away to a junkyard, with no consideration to how that would seriously mess up a customers agenda and schedule. You shouldn't be threatening customers in any way. That was his first mistake. Instead of treating a customer with understanding and trying to compromise, no, he goes on a power trip just because he doesn't like the container there? It wasn't even in the way of anyone coming and going, not in the way of anyone else's unit. I specifically made sure of that, as it was agreed by me and the person I called in advance about it. It doesn't make sense considering that there has been a gigantic tire right next to the container, and yet that hasn't bothered him enough to call someone and haul that away? So, now, my disabled veteran self has to clear my schedule and focus entirely on moving everything in literally only about a couple of weeks by myself mind you, or the guy is going to unjustly haul it away, with no consideration to the difficult situation he's created for the customer whatsoever. After I get my entire storage unit cleared out, I closed my account, since I'm not using their storage unit anymore. I feel like I shouldn't have to pay them if I'm not using it anymore but no, he gets pissed at that too and expires my gate code. They did agree to not haul it away until April if I pay for April but I ended up finishing moving my stuff out of my storage unit early so I closed my account before April. They didn't like that for whatever reason, apparently they couldn't accept a customer getting done early. No they just wanted that monthly payment. Just because I still have to take my stuff to my container and I still need access to the facility, he takes it upon himself to charge me for April and I HAVE to agree otherwise he wouldn't let me access the facility anymore. EVEN though I'm not using any storage unit anymore. So obviously I have to play ball a little longer with this arrogant employee going on a power trip. While I called about being locked out, before he gave me access again, the guy wouldn't even listen to me on the phone he's just going off on how he has his feelings hurt because of this debacle, like I'm the one with a problem, and in the background I hear all his fellow employees laughing their asses off. Very unprofessional and very inappropriate. I don't know who they think they are, treating a customer like this but if I've been treated like this, chances are it'll happen to you as well. If the guy wants to look outside and then randomly choose a customer to have a problem with, I feel like he would. I DO NOT understand why I was treated this way. I did not feel like they communicate with each other well and then they end up taking it out on the customer instead of trying to work with them. If you say it's not going to add to my monthly charge of having the container there when I call you in advance about it, then you should have no problem having it there free of charge after I've cleared out my storage unit and still in the process of loading it up. If you need to rent a storage unit and can deal with crap like this, this place serves that purpose. Be wary of arrogant uncooperative managers. Tried knocking on his door to talk but of course he avoids me, only has a set on the phone. Btw, the tire's been there for at least 6 months

Great man who owns this place, lets you know everything you need to know upfront. He is always quick to answer back email or phone. Great experience, nice, clean, secured and gated storage facility. Would definitely use again.

At first the service was good, and then might just stop contacting us. Mike at PacAWay would send us out invoices for a bill, but then when it came time for us to pay our bill he was never around. We even tried getting her stuff out in July 2021 after that routine bill was paid and he never came to unlock it for us. Not an overly great experience.
