I really like the store, very clean and organized. It's also not as crowded as places like Home Depot. My main issue with stores like this is that they are overpriced. Items cost way more than they should, which discourages me from going there. By the looks of it, it's discouraged other people to shop there as well. Why go there when you could get it cheaper somewhere else? I would like to support smaller businesses, but when the economy squeezes and money is tight...

This is the best neighborhood hardware store I've ever been to. I just wish it was closer to where I live.

The misc hardware section selection is stupendous. Nylon and stainless washers? Check. Metric socket-head screws in both stainless and oxide finishes? Yep. Nylocks of every size? They got it.

Is it more expensive than McMaster? Maybe if you order everything in 100x bags, but you don't have to pay for shipping, and you can get it same-day. This is a really phenomenal local resource.

Formerly "Orchard Supply", Outdoor Supply has filled the gap between the Farm supply store or Hardware store and the Depot size , home improvement stores, that carry bulk supplies of lumber, pipe and cement building supplies.
I go there when I need to repair things from various pieces of equipment to furniture like my Lazy Boy rocker. They have the parts !
They have every kind of screw, fastener and hardware you could think of, and then some. If you like to design and build machines, devices or whatever, this is your "go to" place. If they don't have it, then good luck finding it anywhere else. Besides, you probably didn't need it , anyway...lol
Their clerks and sales people are a great resource for answering your questions and are very knowledgeable. And readily available to help. I don't know about you, but I hate having to walk across a huge store, 2 or 3 times, to a service desk and keep asking for some help with a product and walking back waiting for some one to help. When they showup, they don't have a clue or knowledge of the product you are asking about...well, this won't happen at Outdoor Supply.
Also, when you go to checkout, they have the biggest variety of old fashioned soda pop and comfort snacks I have ever seen.

A very nice home town feel
All customer service people really know there way around the products. Live close so good spot for quick pickups for tools and or supplies for DIY around the house. Greatful to have them in the neighborhood.

Outdoor Supply Hardware has a solid range of outdoor gear, tools, and home supplies. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is well-organized. A great place for all your outdoor and DIY needs!

Excellent for many reasons here are just a few. Plenty of parking including six disabled spots. They have knowledgeable employees roaming throughout the store who will help you locate whatever you need and make sure you get the right item that you are looking for. Clean bathrooms. They will let in. Outdoor furniture, garden supplies and many types of plants. It's a smaller version of Home Depot but you can get in and out quicker.
