Thank you for your response. My review is not solely about valuation options, but rather about the mishandling and carelessness demonstrated during the move, which caused significant damage to my property. Additionally, the subsequent customer service interactions involved threats and dismissive behavior, which go far beyond the issue of valuation options.
While I understand the valuation process, my main concerns revolve around the negligence in handling fragile items and the inappropriate and unprofessional manner in which my claim was addressed. Accountability, professionalism, and empathy should always be a priority, irrespective of state guidelines. Your response further reinforces my experience that customer concerns are not adequately addressed. Thank you for offering further clarification, but the primary issues remain unresolved.

I recently hired On The Go Moving & Storage for my apartment move within Bellevue, WA, and unfortunately had a terrible experience. The movers were extremely careless with fragile items—both of my high-end computer monitors were dropped and badly damaged due to clear negligence. To make matters worse, rather than genuinely helping resolve the issue, their customer service turned out to be shockingly rude and dismissive.

Initially, the supervisor assured me they'd replace the monitors, but once payment was requested, their attitude completely shifted. The company insisted on full payment upfront without any guarantee of proper compensation. Communication quickly deteriorated into threats rather than cooperation; they repeatedly mentioned collections and legal action instead of working toward a fair solution.

The claims process felt deliberately misleading, offering just $75 for damages worth over $850. The entire ordeal showed that On The Go Moving & Storage lacks accountability, professionalism, and basic customer empathy.

I strongly advise against hiring them, especially if you value your belongings and expect respectful customer service.

My move lasted 3 days, covering 80 miles with 7 movers and 3 trucks. The crew was professional, fun, quick, and respectful. However, the estimate for time and cost was extremely inadequate planning for 2 days and 5 movers. The estimator had a tablet and took pictures of all items incl inside cabinets, closets, and drawers. When the crew arrived, they would need more movers, trucks, and another day increasing my costs by 117% (incl tax and discounts, excl tip), or more than doubled the estimate. I had to accept the changes on day 1 not knowing the final charges until the end of day 3. I gave the crew an 18% tip because of their speed and care of my items and would give them 8 stars, but the estimate was poor and deserved 0 stars, therefore averaging 4 stars.

On the Go Moving far eclipsed my expectations for a moving company. Getting the appointment was very easy, the pricing was transparent, and the crew was great. They showed up on time, worked efficiently and fast, took great care of our stuff. I was shocked that they finished early. Hector and his crew were great professional, hardworking, and so easy to work with. It was also the most affordable quote I got. I cannot say enough good things about the Redmond On the Go movers and I highly recommend them!

Our experience was great! Your three fellows were polite, professional, careful and efficient. They were also fun to be around! They took great care with everything. We couldn't believe how they managed to put so many things in the van. It was like watching champions at Tetris. The unpacking went even more efficiently than the loading, though I understand that. We would highly recommend on the go moving to anyone, as we received a recommendation about your company from a close friend. Keep up the good work!!!

I’ve used these guys several times and I have never been let down. They have fair pricing and honest movers. I accidentally put a $500 pair of headphones in my donation pile. Sam, the mover, reached back out to make sure that I wanted to donate them. I didn’t. He could have kept them and not said a word or not even checked. I will 100% use these guys again.

I called several moving companies to compare prices on my move.
On the Go Moving quoted me the best price for a 26 foot truck and 4 movers.
I was able to ask for a firm bid so there were no surprises of the cost at the end of the move.
Most other companies charge their hourly rate for travel to and from their location. At roughly $250 per hour for a 4 man crew, I was looking at paying $500-$750 in just travel time with these other moving companies.
My move was a little more complicated than your average move. I was moving out of 3 storage units and having those items split between my shop and my house.
The truck and 4 movers showed up as scheduled.
The movers were all knowledgeable, professional, and very hard workers.
Their truck was new and clean with their company name clearly visible.
The movers were very careful to protect all of my belongings by wrapping, packing, and properly securing them on their truck for the over-the-road transport.
I highly recommend On the Go Moving and Storage for any size move you may be considering.
