Awful customer service with staff openly mocking customers for being unable to find the digital coupons in the app at the register. Disgusting behavior. This was my favorite grocery store in the area for almost a decade and used to have amazing deals every week but over the last 2-3 years since the merger it's gone to crap and is nearly cheaper than Safeway. I'm not going back.

The self checkout machines are always complaining about something or another, locking up, and asking you to wait for assistance from a cashier. But there's never anyone staffing the self checkout area, so you just end up waiting 10 minutes and eventually having to flag someone down to come help. Also they put up what I can only describe as a demilitarized zone for loss prevention reasons, but they're calling it a "convenience center". Same problem where you have to flag someone down to use it, but there's nobody ever available because the store is running a skeleton crew.

The poorest managed grocery store in the west. Never enough cashiers open even though you can see a dozen employees roaming the store seemingly doing nothing. Some extremely rude employees as well.

Consistently one of the worst shopping experiences around. Never enough people, the roof leaks everywhere in the store, the doors don't work, you need to buy advil separately, it gets worse and worse.

Night before thanksgiving, older lady with a walker was shopping for a single item and asked for help multiple times and no one helped her find it. I decided to ask if she needed help and she told me what she was looking for, so I took a few laps and found it in a weird spot near the entrance. I couldn't find her so I noticed the workers she had asked for help just relaxing, chatting and being on their phones (adults, not children), and they said she had left. It's a shame that no one else was willing to help her out. When I was checking out my own items, the adult cashier was on her phone the whole time and kept missing the prompts to press buttons for me to be able to complete payment. She was rude in talking and never even looked at me. It hurts my heart to see these people choosing not to engage with the people and world around them to just help each other.

This Lucky store is huge, significantly larger than the ones in the South Bay. Well stocked, clean, easy parking.
