I had a very disappointing experience with Lakeshore Logistics Services. They originally scheduled my delivery between 5:00 and 6:00 PM. When no one showed up, I called Luis at 6:00 and was told that due to the rain, they would arrive around 7:00–7:30. At 8:20, after still hearing nothing, I called again—no answer.

Instead, a different person finally called me back, telling me I was supposed to contact him instead of Luis. But how was I supposed to know that when Luis was the only number I had? He then told me they had just finished the delivery before mine and would arrive in about 50 minutes. At this point, I was beyond frustrated with the complete lack of communication. I had to be the one constantly reaching out instead of them providing updates. Wasting nearly four hours of my evening without any proactive communication was completely unacceptable.

The next day, they did deliver at the agreed time, but they refused to bring my item inside until I paid them. Overall, the poor communication and lack of professionalism were incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend these guys at all.

I appreciate your response, but my issue wasn’t with the COD policy—it was with the complete lack of communication. If delays happen due to weather, that’s understandable, but I shouldn’t have been the one constantly reaching out for updates. A simple proactive call to keep me informed would have made a huge difference.

Also, I was told at 6 PM that delivery would be around 7–7:30, yet I heard nothing until I called again at 8:20. That’s a two-hour gap where I had no idea what was going on. If you had called me at 8:25 as you claim, I wouldn’t have had to reach out first.

As for the rain policy, I completely understand the need to be cautious, but if no deliveries can happen in the rain, that should have been communicated earlier rather than leaving me waiting.

At the end of the day, my frustration was about the poor communication and the fact that I had to chase down answers. I stand by my review. Hopefully, this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

I bought some furniture at RTG outlet and RTG store in Alafaya. I called one of their contractors Lakeshore Logistics Services, Luis. When I called him he acted all nice and respectful, told me he can bring my furniture Sunday with no problem and asked for the order number right away. We set up my delivery for Sunday 3-5, I received a call from Luis Saturday that he was confused about my delivery date being Saturday or Sunday. That was worrisome to me because this person had all my orders and I don’t know them and they picked everything up Saturday as opposed to Sunday. I received calls from Luis Saturday and someone else who I can’t remember the name and was told I was going to receive a call back with times but we were set for Sunday supposedly. Sunday I waited on the house 3:30-4:30 for someone to come based on a text by Luis that morning. At 4:30 I called Luis no answer, I called the other number, no answer. A little later someone name Hector called me to say he had three deliveries before mine. At which point I realized I was dealing with a bunch of irresponsible people. I got very upset and told him that was unacceptable and he stated he was going to ask his other boss to try to bring my stuff sooner and he would call me back. It’s 6:30 and I have not gotten a call from anyone and I still don’t know where’s my furniture and what’s happening. I will never again use this company and hopefully I get my things from them. Also shame on RTG for recommending them
