Today we made our third equipment purchase in the 7 years that we have been their customers. Every time we go to the Yelm store we are treated with the utmost respect, whether it is to get questions answered, buy parts or supplies or to check out a piece of equipment.All of the employees that we have had the pleasure of meeting and working with have been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I purchased my very first tractor from J & I Power Equipment in Yelm, WA. No clue as to what type of tractor I would need, and other implements that I can use to clear my newly purchased property because I was too overwhelmed by blackberry bushes, and downed trees. My wife and I walked in to J & I in Yelm, and were greeted with a friendly smile by Jessica. I explained to her that I have never owned a tractor before, and she answered all my questions on what size of tractor, and type of implement I would need to get started. I trusted her knowledge and recommendation and ended up purchasing the 2022 Kubota LX3310 with the third function to operate the grapple. I love the tractor that I have, and felt like a kid with a new toy. It made working on my property much easier clearing blackberries, moving logs with ease. The LX3310 has served me well for a whole year, but the only drawback for me is that the transmission has a whine while running. It does not help my tinnitus, even with an ear plug. The frequency of the whine gave me a headache and prevented me from operating the tractor for longer periods.
July 2023, I contacted Jessica again, and asked if there is any way that I can trade my tractor for a different one that has zero whine. Jessica made all the number works with my trade, and ended up purchasing a 2023 Grand L3560-LE.

I cannot say enough how much I appreciate J & I for treating me with a top notch customer service, and always willing to answer my questions throughout the process of my new purchase.

If you’re reading reviews, chances are that you’re in a market for purchasing a new equipment, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND J & I Power Equipment. The staff here are all friendly, and always greeting their customer with a friendly smile.

I purchased a small steal chain saw it has been nothing but a pain in the ass to start. Asked for help on this and learned a 400 dollar deal is. ...Nothing to the staff. Do you self a favor go across the street and get you a Husky at Tractor supply their return policy is way better then J and I.

So far so good. We love our tractor purchase and J &I was very helpful in the process.
Only complaint was that when it was delivered it was dirty and had a few big scratches. But they did take it back to the shop and clean and painted the scratches.

Angela and her team gave us the knowledge and time to make an educated choice. She stayed late to accommodate our schedule. Angela shared her personal experience of the equipment to make sure we got what we needed. The staff may not always have the answer immediately, but they will make sure you get the answer. I rarely review businesses. Long-story short, Chris and Angela were incredible. I wanted an L3560, it was the only one in all of Washington,—and Chris drove himself, on Memorial Day, all day to get it for me. With no benefit for him doing so, that’s the type of people who work here. No BS, tell you the good and the bad of all products so you get what you want and know what you’re getting. Too bad that’s considered “old school” by most companies. Those ones didn’t get my money.

Went to price out a tractor for our small farm. Russ was very knowledgeable and gave us accurate numbers off the top of his head. It just made sense to go ahead and get it done and they made it super fast and easy. Plus zero down and zero interest for 72 months doesn't hurt at all. I highly recommend these folks and will certainly be back for more implements as our farming needs grow.
