I have been a loyal customer to Harris Containers for several years. I have gotten 4 containers in the last 6 months. This last container was ready for pickup, however, I told the girl that answered the phone, DO NOT let anyone come pick it up for 3-4 days because they would get stuck. I said it 3 times on the phone and she heard me. Well, that very same day, she dispatched a truck to pick it up and I am left with a 32’ long x 3’ wide x 1.5’ deep trench in my backyard. This is my house, not a construction site and they left me with this! I have emailed and called and no one has gotten in touch with me to even apologize, much less make it right.

I’ve used this company a few times in the past. Small issues like the truck getting stuck and no reminder that your 30 days is up and getting stuck with a higher bill. No problem. When I called in this morning to get rental rates the lady had such a bad attitude. I hung up, called around and found a company with great customer service, friendly office staff. The rates were about $20 more and rental one week less. That’s a price I’m willing to pay to be treated like a valued customer. Please do better.

Have used them for roll-offs and their transfer station in Covington. Staff is always friendly. They are one of the only roll off companys that don't charge per week. Never had an issue with overcharging but I also call when the box is full. And it's picked up, most of the time, the same day. Great company, highly recommend.

Ordered from them several times and no one ever reached out on picking up the dumpster. All in all they left this dumpster on my property for almost 5 months. A property that no one lives at which is a rehab property. I assumed they had picked it up til they decided to tell me it was still there. They picked up same day and told me I owe 1200$. No where on the given receipt shows I am to call when done. It was understood to only be needed for the 30 days. I feel they used my property as a storage place for their dumpster and when it was needed the would come get it but charge me as If I requested this dumpster for 6 months. I've used this company several times for more than 1 property and never got charged because THEY where not proactive in picking it up. This time they hit me with a 1200$ fee which is crazy will never use again

If I could give this company a negative I would. I ordered and paid cash for a 20 yard container. After noticing how fast the container was filling up I had some one come look and they advised me that it was not a 20 yard. I called the company the next morning so they can check to make sure I had the correct box and the customer service was horrible. The 2 options they gave were not applicable to a mistake on their part only to get more money for them to bring the correct box. I could either get a refund for the price difference of a 14 yd that was dropped off have them pick that container up and then pay another $443 for the correct box to be dropped off. I spoke with the owner Mike Harris who did not want to correct his companies mistake but instead insist on my paying for 2 containers when it was their error in the first place. The company is horrible and yo say the most the owners customer service is non existence as well. If I need another container I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! BEWARE THEY ARE ALL ABOUT MONEY!!!

I have been using Harris container for the last few years. Recently I ordered a 14 yard container for a tenant of mine and after the 30 days they start charging you “storage fee” . These kind people will wait until additional 30 days or longer before calling to see if the container is ready for pickup and said it’s my responsibility to let them know it’s ready for pickup... Well let’s see , if your secretary can call 60 days later to see if it’s ready why couldn’t she call a day or two after the 30 days to let you know ? Lol because they want more money. SO I HAD TO PAY 300$ more for this . Won’t ever use them again, and there is more container companies in the area ..

I have been remodeling my house for about 6 months now. We have been hauling by the pickup as we need to. It's self service but the people there are always so good to us. I am a 64 year old female and have my handicapped adult son help me.
Even thou they don't have too they have come out and helped us to take really heavy items off the truck if they are not too busy. I for one am thankful to this company for caring for their customers. Thank you.

Wow super impressed with this service. I had some old furniture and junk I needed removed, and was completely satisfied with the job. Fast, polite, fair price. Local guy too.
