This is the best alteration business on the Grand Strand. This man knows sewing in detail. I don't have the words to tell you how GOOD he is with alterations. He make your clothes fit as if they was tailored to you. I highly recommend this business.I wouldn't take my alterations anywhere else.Thank you for always coming through. Called about having a polo altered to fit better. He was extremely rude with his responses. I asked if I could drop off today and pick up tomorrow, (Saturday) since there hours say open on Saturdays. He told me that he hasnt worked a Saturday in this many months because after 50 years he deserves Saturdays off.
Then said "let me tell YOU how my customers work. They don't call me for appointments. They walk in and I slap a price on the item and tell them when they can come back get pick it up. No one calls for appointments."
Sir, after 52 years I think you have forgotten how to properly handle customers.
I think now would be a good time for you to retire.

Wonderful experience with Jessie.

I needed a suit jacket/pants and dress shirt all altered for a wedding. This was a last minute job as I needed it for a Tuesday and brought it in the previous Thursday afternoon. As others have mentioned, Jessie is a great conversationalist and extremely kind.

Picked up my clothing on Tuesday and everything looked great. I really can't recommend this shop and Jessie enough. There are other shops closer to me but I will be going to Jessie for any tailoring/alterations needed.

Jessie is a pleasure to deal with. He's a charming man. He really knows his business, and he's super friendly and helpful. I needed new jeans shortened and he did them fast and beautifully. He finished them with a hem in the original style with the exact matching thread. I dropped them off Tuesday afternoon and Jessie had them ready by early Friday afternoon. For the quality of his work his pricing is crazy reasonable. I will be bringing my alterations to Jessie in the future, and I will be recommending Jessie to my friends.
