Absolutely horrible experience. After our package was at Forward Air for 1.5 weeks we finally got ahold of them. The customer service was horrible, rude, and zero help. Once we finally had our appointment set, they sent ONE guy, with no forklift, to remove our 1000lb, 8 feet by 4 feet shipment. The truck had a ramp that could be lowered, but the package would not fit. My husband and I both had to use items from our house to help unload. Not only is it unprofessional, the lone employee sent to unload was put in hazardous conditions. I have pictures and videos showing the experience, as well of pictures of the other large items the employee was tasked with delivering. I highly recommend you avoid this company, as they are unprofessional and do not value the safety of their employees.

My business was at a standstill for over two weeks due to this company's mistakes. I lost work and they wasted a considerable amount of my time.
Every decent review here is from people who pick up their freight from the warehouse themselves. When it comes to delivering, these clowns are absolute amateurs. They have no business claiming to be in freight delivery.
They put my shipping label on the wrong shipment and didn't verify the bill of lading. They delivered 2092 pounds of used computers intended for the recycler instead of my equipment.
It took them over a week to find my shipment, then couldn't give me an actual delivery date. When they finally said it would arrive on a Monday, at the end of that Monday they sent notice it postponed until Friday. Friday arrives and it's postponed again until the next Monday. Dead silence when I asked for a delivery window.

I will absolutely refuse to purchase from any company that uses Forward Air.

Avoid this freight company. Joy from Seattle dispatch was incredibly unprofessional and rude. Not only was she condescending, but she was also unapologetic to the fact that their driver never showed or called on the day he was scheduled for delivery. I waited around all day for someone to show up. When I expressed my disappointment with the communication I had received, she showed absolutely no empathy.

Just as others have said, they never call to validate delivery dates or times. When they missed their delivery, and we call they told us the truck was down for maintenance. Next day, "not enough space on the truck" but here is the kicker.... hours later a driver comes! BUT they put my shipping label on the wrong shipment and didn't verify the bill of lading!!!! All the boxes had someone else's name ALL OVER THEM! Unbelievable!!!

They were supposed to deliver a refrigerator I bought from Costco. They drove up, jumped out of the truck for a second, got back in the truck and drove away. They claimed they called me, but that was a lie. I received no calls that morning. They never came to the door or called me (and lied about it). When contacted, they refused to come back and deliver the appliance. I had to cancel the order. Don't buy anything from anybody who uses these people to deliver. The worst.

If I can give no stars, I would! Seems like there is a pattern from reading other reviews about time and responsiveness. Didn’t even call us once to schedule the day before, I had to reach out to my insurance company to get their info. Then they end up cancelling and inform me that they will not be able to reschedule until next week and that they will call to confirm a time slot the day before… this company company is trash. Do not go with them!!!

If it was possible to leave negative stars this business would deserve it. Quite possibly the worst customer service I have experienced with any company ever. Sent confirmation that it would be delivered saturday in a four hour window. Waited for the four hours until I called and was told they don't deliver on Saturdays. Ummm, why did you even schedule for saturday then? We'll reschedule for Monday- really not great but ok I'll rearrange my schedule for then too. Monday morning comes and it's scheduled to be the 2nd delivery on the route. No call/no show until I call in again. On the 4th try, they finally show up and make an excuse about how they can't do the install or haul away that was paid for. Steer clear at all costs, if you're purchasing from somewhere that uses them for delivery buy somewhere else.

Worst freight company i've dealt with, Poor communication. Lying about transit times. booked a shipment for 1 day transit and turned out to be 3 days and they claim its not a guaranteed transit. If its not somewhat close to your estimated 1 day transit time then don't advertise it as 1 day and charge more money than other companies offering a realistic transit time. customer service is awful. One rep tells me this will arrive in 1 day as its an overnight run then the next day they tell me its not leaving for 2 days. Poor Customer service, Poor Transit Time, Waste of money when you can find other reliable carriers. Very shady so called freight carrier that wont do their job. Do yourself a favor and book with any other carrier but this one!!!
