Every year when we come down we stop here for our birthday breakfast. This morning was no different. We were greeted at the door, seated right away and offered beverages. The waitress was friendly and responsive and the food delicious and fresh as always! The manager also took extra care of me for my birthday. Every restaurant should be like this. We will continue to come back every time we’re in town. Thank you for exceptional service and starting my birthday out beautifully!

We had breakfast several times while our vacations in Bradenton .
I usually have The steelcut oatmeal with fruits and brown sugar and hmmmm..... love it everytime !
My husband always has the traditional breakfast , and he likes it very much, too.
Service is very good and very kind.
We will always come back , when we are in town !

We used to go to SR70 at Lockwood but Cortez is far superior in every aspect. The service and friendliness is outstanding. We were seated immediately. Received our coffee immediately. We were checked on to make sure everything was ok. Not excessively but just enough to know they cared. The restaurant looks brand new, it is so well taken care of. The food was hot and delicious. The seating is comfortable and not cramped. Definitely a keeper.

I got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and Italian wedding soup. They were both really good and I recommend them our waitress was good. In the atmosphere was good! Definitely wanting to go back!!! 🫶
