If it was possible to choose 6 stars I would have without a second of hesitation. They really have left an amazing mark on me from a business standpoint.

So first and foremost I will apologize in advance for how long my writing is going to end up but they’ve earned and deserve the extra time it takes for me share my history with DK Transport. A couple of years ago I decided to drastically increase our consolidation business so it was imperative to create relationships with facilities in areas we did not operate a location of our own. Central Cal/Fresno is an EXTREMELY sensitive/important area for us as a large portion of our primarily consolidating customers originate most of their shipments from Fresno with very precise needs. One being accommodating weekend pickups with a flexible approach.

Here’s a story describing my experience with one of DK’s competition prior to me finding him. This competitor was selected off Google with neutral reviews but I wish I hadn’t so maybe this will help you avoid the same mistake I made. Basically they failed in all areas especially the two most important for all of us… time & money. They were very slow, very difficult to interact with and exceedingly dishonest as there actually ended up being a small situation the next day between myself & them. After they originally gave me verbal permission to leave my empty in the same docked position we dropped it in the day prior for our consolidation needs they completely changed up and would not let my driver leave unless I paid an additional $200 for “parking” which btw my trl was the only trl in their entire lot. Ended up not paying a penny but it was a gigantic migraine from the very beginning so at that point my blood was boiling and I knew I needed someone 100% solid for the next job. Did not google this time but I called a friend and cried the same story that you just read. This friend gave me DK’s number and the rest is history. I have not needed to call anyone else as they’ve taken care of each and every pickup and/or consolidation that I’ve requested service for so that combined with being one of the easiest group of people that I’ve ever dealt with in my 23yrs is extremely rare. Their capacity to always provide a solution regardless of what I’m asking for has developed huge opportunities for me to turn into fruition and that just wouldn’t exist if I had partnered with anyone else. Nothing negative I can say about them but the plan is to throw so much business at them in 2025 that I assume will force them to tell me no on occasion and/or screw up royally but they’ve been the perfect partner so far. They provide an honest and reliable service that in my opinion could be more expensive and they would have either the same or even more customers because some things are more important than just money.

I began cross-docking at this location in 2023, and so far, the service has been excellent. They provide high-quality service and maintain great communication. We’ve completed several cross-docks with them and have had no complaints. The best part is their 24-hour availability—whenever I need assistance, I simply call Billy, provide the ETA for both trucks, and that saves us a lot of time. I highly recommend them; they are also great at fixing loads if pallets get tilted during transit. I truly appreciate all their help.
