The store offers a wide selection of interesting items at very reasonable prices. I was able to find a few things that I had been looking for, and I’m happy with my purchases.

One thing that caught my attention was the store’s return and refund policy. They don’t accept returns or issue refunds unless the purchased product is defective. While this might be inconvenient for some, it seems to reflect their focus on quality and customer satisfaction when it comes to product defects. This is a big Daiso store. The format is larger than what I typically see. There's the usual Japanese housewares items, stationary, cookware, fishes, etc. What was unusual was the metal cups and metal plates. It took me a while to understand that they were probably for use while out camping. They also have small cast iron pans, probably for camping?...or maybe good if you are cooking for one and want to put a good sear on a small steak. 🧑‍🍳🔥🥩😋

Up front there's a huge assortment of "hug pillows".....they look like stuffed toy animals to me. Could probably double as graduation gifts.

Of course, there's also Hello Kitty items there too. 😆

Great location, short walk from the El Cerrito Plaza Bart Station, beside the 72, 72M, 72R Bus stops, with ample parking, in the Plaza with Barnes & Noble, Lucky's, CVS, Panda Express, etc. Wonderful staff, with a variety of nick nacks, Japanese and other East Asian snacks, drinks, kitchen wares.

I love this store. You can get super cute gifts and they're inexpensive. Their stuff is different than other stores like lots of unique items. I would highly recommend this store.

Some gems here among too many appealing trinkets you won't want to part with but which will clutter your home. Great for paper and office supplies, china, bags, organizers. It's a fun place, but you may want to set a timer to limit your browsing.

The cashier lady was so nice. They don’t accept Apple Pay so my mom was trying to find a credit card and we couldn’t find one, the lady (De Chen) offered to pay and have us pay her back with Apple Pay.

When THAT didn’t go though she said that she trusted us and you could come back next week to pay. She is such an angel. Thank you so much De Chen. You truly were very helpful.
