I love my CVS. They are so good to me, and once I figured out how to use online access, I was amazed. It's so awesome, everything you need, right there at your finger tips. I do wish my store had delivery but I don't live far away so I can manage. Becky, Emily, Sarah and Kelsey feel like family to me, the other pharmacy staff I've not yet got their names in memory, but they are all great. They always remind you when vaccines are needed. With Hanceville CVS, I have peace of mind, that's priceless. Thank you all, for all you do. Sincerely, Karen Watson
PS. I wish people could understand the pressure these employees are under. They serve such a vast number of people, issues are bound to happen, but I know they work hard to fix the issue. These guys are great, but they are not miracle workers ..

You know it's a shame when you call to see if your doctor got your prescription called in and they can't answer the phone. What has this world become no one wants to work and you can't get them to answer a phone. I just don't understand why this company can't answer the phone.

Pharmacist was rude and didn’t order a very important medication that I needed. I was trying to get this taken care of early in the week because I was having surgery later that week. Even though the order came in from my doctor on Tuesday it wasn’t ordered and probably wouldn’t have been if I hadn’t called to check on it Thursday, which is the day of my surgery.

The pharmacy there is full of liars. I normally would have gone to the Veterans Affairs office for my medication but I just had surgery and decided to go to a local pharmacy rather than travel to Birmingham. When i went to the pharmacy, they told me that they applied a discount for medication the VA always covers. Turns out they lied and didnt apply any discount. I've gotten medication with my VA benefits before and I was not charged. This pharmacy is full of LIARS, LIARS, LIARS. Instead of being honest and saying there was no discount or that my VA benefits dont apply there, which i know it does, they LIED. Since they are so comfortable lying to customers about matters like this I will be reporting this and giving them as much of a headache as I can.

One person left to handle walk in pharm., drive thru,and the phone, Friday afternoon at 5 pm.
Was told to come back at 5,then told it would be the next day..

This CVS is great! I shop here often. Becky, the pharmacist and her staff are courteous and professional, the prices for medicine is reasonable. I also like the large selection of make-up items, it's a great buy when I use my extra-bucks rewards. CVS also sends out discount coupons as an additional reward.

I tried to fill 2 prescriptions and had one of the worst retail experiences that i have ever had. When i gave the pharmacist my prescriptions I told him that I had Good RX coupons on my phone and tried to show him but he just walked off so I thought everything was ok. When I was called back to pay one of the meds was almost 50 dollars than the coupon rate. When I questioned the price the Pharmacy Tech rolled her eyes and started popping her gum in my face. The Pharmacist then said I told him I had the coupon but did not give a card, Good RX is an app, so i didn't get the discount. So i showed the tech the coupons and she told me she didn't need them she could just do it herself. She told me that it would be another 10 minutes and when I questioned why such a long time to change the price they refused to fill the medicine and returned my paper prescriptions. I asked to speak to the store manager and was informed by the Tech that he was not there so at this point all i could do is leave.

Once home called back to the store to get the pharmacist and technicians names and licences number. Well the store manager answered the phone. He then preceeded to tell me that he could not give that information until I told him that it was a matter of public record and that if it was not posted in plain view that they were committing a crime. So when he finally gave me the pharmacist's name , Charlie, i filed a complaint with CVS and the state pharmacy board.

Also I called around to 2 other CVS stores to check cash prices and found out that he was going to charge me more than the other stores.

It is no wonder that BCBS of Alabama will no longer deal with CVS.

I would avoid doing this store at all costs in the future. It would seem that CVS has a standard to only hire rude people along with liars and cheats.

Trying to have my medications filled at the Hanceville CVS has been very frustrating. Many times the employees say I don't have refills or that the doctor had not called a prescription in, when actually, the medications WERE ready to refill. Also, many, many times I received phone texts from CVS telling me that a medicine was automatically refilled or that a prescription was ready for pick up. When I arrived at the stores, the employees didn't know what I was talking about. They had NOTHING ready for pick up. Because of these errors, I have had to go without my medication for several days while they figured out their error... The employees were always friendly, however. I now do business with Blue and Gray Drugs in Hanceville. Their service is much more dependable.
