I brought a FEMA load and as soon as I showed at the gate, the told me "No containers available" I was told to go to truck stop and they'll call me like in two days or call broker to redirect load to another whorehouse. Finally got a phone call 32 hrs later. They don't even give you access to use restrooms, much less feed you and they take their sweet mfkr time to unload. No wonder why CDL drivers from Puerto Rico don't even want to bother with FEMA nonsense.

Drivers: Take MLK PKWY to Canal St (W of I-95, 1 mile east of Kings Hwy). Go NORTH on Canal St at the light. Immediately T/R onto SCL Drive. PARK on RIGHT shoulder. Put on Safety Vest, Closed toe shoes and WALK to guard shack at the 1ST driveway (SW corner of property). CAT # is the only number you need to check in with. Call the broker for it. TQL texted it to me when I did my arrival check call.

The guard will ask you for CAT#, truck, trailer, company, your phone, your name. The guard will call the info in to the office. They assigned me a dock door at this time. I checked in about 7:40am for an 8:00am appointment.

I went to my door and backed up. I had a bolt seal. The yard man came and cut the bolt seal and helped me slide tandems to back in. Good dude! Thanks, man! Paperwork goes on floor of trailer. Chock tires. Wait in truck to unload.

Exit the property at the Northeast corner onto 26th st. 2 left turns and you're back at MLK PKWY traffic light. Left to I-95. Right to Kings Hwy and the 295 loop.

Remember, this is a secure lot as Crowley ships internationally to Puerto Rico out of Jax. Check in is a bit of a process, but knowing what to expect now, it's not that bad. If you've ever delivered to a port then you get the idea. This is easier than that! It's just not as easy as pulling into an ungated warehouse. They do not let you on the dock. I did not notice a porta potty for drivers so plan accordingly.

The guard was friendly and professional. The yard man was great helping me with the seal and even sliding tandems for unloading. The dock man was also friendly and professional as he said he'd undo my straps and I could just wait in the truck as I'm not allowed on the dock. Guard said use the back gate to leave, in the NE corner of the property (entry is SW corner before the Crowley sign/building). The date is 10/25/2021.

DRIVERS PARK IN THE DIRT SIDE OF THE ROAD BEFORE WALKING UP TO CHECK IN. MUST HAVE A SAFETY VEST AND CLOSED TOE SHOES (WHICH YOU SHOULD BE WEARING ANYWAY) MUST MUST MUST HAVE A CAT NUMBER NOT BOL OR ANY OTHER NUMBER. BRING PLENTY OF FOOD THE WAIT TIMES HERE ARE LOOOOOOOOONG. ALSO NO RESTROOM FACILITIES FOR US
