Did such an amazing job building the crate and packaging my 6ft wide Longhorn skull, which is a treasured family heirloom. I dropped it off in Hillsboro and arrived to my apartment building’s package room in Brooklyn with no damage, which was impressive because it has some fragile pieces. Took about 2 weeks to get across.

Update November 9, 2022: Issue was never resolved. Please be careful when using this company. Update August 30, 2022: In response to the request below I contacted the company (again) and presented the case. There was a flurry of activity and now again I am sitting without my issue being resolved.
Original Post: Please be careful with this company. They expect payment up front which gives you no recourse if you have a problem. We hired them after hearing rave reviews from a neighbor. They came by, picked up our hardwood furniture for a 600 mile move. They took pictures of any damage to my furniture, all things I would expect them to do before crating our furniture and delivering to the new location with their "white glove service". Unfortunately, their white glove service isn't white glove and we have several pieces of furniture that ended up with gouges out of the wood...not scratches that we can buff out but actual gouges. On delivery day, they took pictures of the damage and supposedly sent the photos to the main office. I contacted them to find out what the remedy was, providing photos we had taken as well and was basically told that we couldn't prove that they damaged our furniture and that according to their insurance company we did not have a claim. Paying cash up front means I do not have a recourse. Be careful when employing this company.

Communicative and punctual. These folks helped me move my stuff across country after another moving company was a no show. The office staff is great and the people who showed up to do the packing were kind and on time. Will definitely use this company moving forward and can’t recommend them enough. I sold a beautiful bronze sculpture to someone in Germany with eBay and then found out the shipping was going to be $1250 more than eBay quoted me. I couldn't pack it myself and it was quite stressful given the clock was ticking with the expectation I would get the sold object off to the buyer. Craters and Freighters saved my reputation! They picked it up, packed it perfectly, and shipped it to the very happy customer in Berlin, all for the amount eBay originally quoted me! Thank you, Craters & Freighters! You're the BEST!
