Encountered a tanker driver on Saturday afternoon/evening on US RT 82 who should have his/her CDL pulled. Encounter began in Eufaula, AL. Driving through town on Eufaula Ave (82) where the speed limit is 30 MPH with signage stating “Trucks Use Right Lane.” Driver remained in the left lane driving 60 MPH. At stop light leaving town, I’m in the left of two lanes stopped at the light. While light is red, driver pulls across the road into left lane to cut me off then proceeds to drive right through the red light. Further up the road (at an intersection with RT 27, I believe), driver stops at the intersection on a green, holding up me and others behind. When the light turns fully red, driver crosses (on the red) blocking crossing traffic that has the green. Continuing eastbound on 82, driver is turning on 4-ways then off then on. Two black US Govt Suburbans tried passing the tanker but backed off because of driver’s erratic driving. Following those two Suburbans, I proceeded to pass the tanker on the right because driver was driving in the left lane with high beams on. As I got about halfway past, the tanker driver pulled right into my lane seemingly to run me off the road. I could go on about other problematic behavior (repeatedly activating engine brakes to make intimidating noise, failure to negotiate properly a turn around a town square, going at a snail’s pace to block following traffic, repeatedly— more like regularly exceeding posted speed limits, etc.) but this driver is either driving impaired or has other issues that put your company at risk of being sued! A call to law enforcement was made around Albany, GA, and they advised that they would be looking for that vehicle. This driver needs to be off the road.

The company overall is great! The dispatcher Daniel was awesome! He would go to bat for you and is a straight forward guy. The ladies in the office were wonderful. The only notable downside is the Atlanta terminal. The female staff and drivers were very nice but the head guy running the terminal was awful. Started out nice but he turned into a completely different person when I didn't put up with his disrespect. I ended up changing to the Indiana Terminal and things were great from there. I would completely recommend this company to any o/o out here...
