Updated review: New employees since my previous review, and it’s awesome now. Two nice, helpful guys working there, and one of them has a couple of friendly dogs. They are getting packages processed a lot faster too.

(Used to be my favorite place to get mail til they changed management. Now they have a rude, creepy guy working there who tries to start arguments and actually asked for my phone number and home address.)

Ive been mailing here for 10 years. They had some unsavory staff for a while but are no longer there. The current employees are so sweet and have my packages for me before I even come to the window. I like the convenience, short lines and eggs for sale in the fridge in the lobby 🙂

Over priced. And slow. Staff is nice but its not worth mailing ur stuff here. Maybe getting a mailbox is okay here but i dont think its any cheaper then competitors...

If you don't mind paying a lot more and very rude service, by all means...Go on in and mail your package. "No, Hi! how are you today!" When you walk up to the counter. No eye contact. Very rude and always in a hurry. I'm taking my business to Wasilla PO from now on. I don't care how longgggggggg their line is. 🙂

I did not know they charge more to ship usps flat rate boxes that the regular post office. Had my son take the boxes in for me so I did not know the total till afterwards. $30 instead of $22 for flat rate. They also slipped in a FedEx 2day charge on a box for $110. I will always take my stuff the the regular post office now and just stand in line.
*Edit* even though I told them not to mail my boxes because I wanted them back and wanted my card refunded they mailed them out that same day anyway. I was told the manager would void the charges out of the postal meter and I would get my boxes back but that is not what happened.

The old lady was very rude and disrespectful. She even yelled at me when I was just asking her questions about the package I was trying to mail out. She wasn’t even out at the desk when another customer and I came in. She also came out with attitude problems. Felt like she took it out on me. If this is the way customer service works for them I will definitely take my business elsewhere and let all my veterans families and friends know. This is not the place to send or receive any kind of services.
