i write this review to show companies that its never too late to speak up.
2013 was the year i got hired. it was a cool job at first and i got to learn how shipping containers work.
especially in the Lagos area
this was one of those jobs where you had to suck up to the people in charge. i remember getting into it with this latin lady.
i believe she was in charge of the billing finance department.
and then, got let go for not billing someone when i had to.
i got minimum training on emailing people/copying and pasting client's billing.
i know i was targeted and if you work here and you feel like you need to be a slave to someone who is in power, I'm here to tell you to speak up and put them in their place.
this place got new management and i got fired days after. i was a shy kid and i didn't speak up for myself which i regret. karma karma karma

I am really nervous about shipping my own vehicle thru AES now after reading all this bad reviews other customers had. It got me worried and I hope I don’t get to meet the same fate with them.
Please I will appreciate it when I drop my car off at the dock, I hope it stays in the same condition when it gets to Lagos. My car is in a very good condition and runs and drive. Please for Gods sake, I don’t want to go back and forth with anyone about my car just like other customers here. I will certainly update after everything

This is the worst experience ever in my 10 years of shipping vehicles. I ignored what other reviewers were saying about them and decided to give them a try. I shipped couple of cars and not one experience was worth complimenting. Damaged vehicles at destination port, shipping delays and no one bothers to reach out to you until you contact them, outrageous charges, worst communication and the list goes on. Regrets……I won’t recommend.

From lack of communictaion, inadequate and inaccurate information to extremely long (over 2 months) delay to vandelized/stolen property AES is your one stop shop for a terrible export shipping experience. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND using this company for your shipping needs. They will give you a run around with inaccurate information and will not take any responsibility/accountabilty for issues with shipment. They also have awful communication. Phone calls always put on hold/wait and emails are responded to at their own pleasing. So, book with them today if you want a horrendous experience and be sure to strap on your seatbelt tight because its going to be one bumpy ride. Took 4 months for my shipment to get to its destination only to have parts removed and stolen from vehicles.

Prompt service, friendly staff and very fair pricing for all services I've used (inland, ocean freight, ocean insurance). Helped resolve an issue I had with another logistics company that was delivering my car, even though they did not need to do so. Really go above and beyond, I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs help with transporting cars across country as well as exporting overseas. 10/10

Updated!!! My ordeal is not over!!! Disorganized and confusing messages from different people.
I can give AES(auto export shipping)no star at all if I have the option, i think they deserve all the stars u give them if they haven't messed your business up.
The department I have problem with is their INLAND shipping!
They made me miss cut off, even for the fact that it was expensive , then the car and driver couldn't be located for days, and then they send me a mail that my car won't start, they were going to change to non running, and then they said it was a joke, and they just don't care about the delay. They keep giving excuses upon excuses!

I have been with AES for about 8 years . They are the best in the business . The pricing and customer service is incomparable. They provide support even at the port of destination ; I do Roro only with them and I have never regretted. They process your dock receipts promptly and they respond quickly If you have to make any changes. They have an app where you can track your cargo and print the copy of your bill of lading and dock receipt. They just made available an opportunity to process your own booking; I cant wait to try that out . I recommend this company . They are tested and trusted.
