I used to love Amazon Hope, but I will no longer be shopping there. I was going to rent a dumpster and throw everything in my garage away, instead, I decided to donate it to them.

I called and scheduled a time for them to come out and pick up my things. I spent all night separating everything and put the garbage off to the side.

When they arrived, they asked what all needed to go. I told them everything! There was a good bit and they will make a good profit off of my donation. However, they left a lot of it behind. When I called to ask why I was told they didn’t get it all because they couldn’t sell it.

That was a lie. There was a lot of things they could have sold that were left behind. I tried for two days to get them to make it right and they refused to do so.

These items are supposed to be out of my garage by tomorrow and now I will have to pay a lot of money because they picked what they wanted.

When never donate to them because they are only out for a profit.

I love this store (BOAZ). I have found one bargain after another for the past 4 years I have been shopping here. A few day ago I bought a Princess Castle Play Tent for $1.99 and the blue tent that zips up was $3.99. I know of 4 kids that are going to LOVE playing in these. The staff is always very friendly as well. Thank you Amazon Hope in Boaz!

You’re lucky if you can get a cart in here to use while you are shopping. I guess they expect you to just carry your purchases as you shop. I ask an older lady today if I could use a spare cart they had while they were putting out Christmas items and was rudely told I could not. I was walking with my hands full while she was talking on the phone the whole time. I do not shop stores that do not care about their customers.

Best thrift store in the area! I love knowing that my purchases fund helping others with basic needs as well as reaching them with the gospel! Happy to say I have seen first hand what this store finds in the Amazon River Basin. Lives are being changed!!

Amazon Hope is an average thrift store with a slightly cramped layout for some of the isles. The store is located beside the Burke’s Outlet store, Google maps shows it in the wrong places, hopefully that will be fixed soon.
