NGL, I was totally nervous as I do not do well with heights or steep climbs. But this is SO worth it and I think everyone should go. The ride is so much smoother than I ever would have expected, but do be prepared for the moment you go over the tower and swing for a moment. The views are incredible and it literally and figuratively took my breath away. Actually had to sit down for a moment to let my vestibular system stabilize. It was so grand and vast!

Lovely views from the top. A 4-5 minute ride. Tram leaves every 15 minutes. Hiking trails are available at the top, but it was raining, so we chose not to hike. Buying tickets on a sunny weekend might be advised, but no problem when we were there.

A short ride to the top in the tram (or cable car). There are some trails but nothing short. The views are amazing. Food and drink options are at the top. A little gift shop with historical items, like a small museum.

At first I thought it was a bit expensive, but it’s worth every penny. Clean, safe ride with friendly staff. The mountain top was very cool with wildlife (saw a bear on the way up), wildflowers, and great views. The bathrooms were clean and the beer hit the spot. 20% discount if you are staying at the resort. Pictures taken August 14, 2023.

Totally worth the money! We were here on vacation waiting to get on our cruise. The scenery is incredible. Alaska is definitely one of the most beautiful states I've ever been to. I think we paid 50 or $60 per person to get to the top of the mountain. I would absolutely do it again.

A gorgeous view even on a cloudy day. A two mile hike up to the lookout from the roundhouse and restaurant and a tram ride down. Unless you really feel energetic and want to hike the two mile hike back down. It is a do-able steep. I don't recommend it to someone that's really out of shape. The ride down is free. If you choose to ride the tram up it cost $90. for my wife and I both unless you order the meal vouchers which I did so I paid $120.00 for the both of us to be used at the restaurant up on top. If you want to eat at the fine dining restaurant I recommend getting online and ordering in advance. The closest day available was two days out. Prices were a little spendy as you might imagine. I thought it was worth it.
