For many years now, as long as I can remember, we have been using Highlights Express services to send our belongings / gifts back home.

This time we asked to them to help us send our lamp from the UK to Philippines! All we had to do, was send over the measurements and they helped by having a custom made box (a perfect fit if I may say) just for the lamp! It was packed by Highlights in the custom made box at our UK home and collected. Of course, all perfectly packed and sealed / nailed.

A few months later and a week before we arrived back in Philippines, it was delivered safe and sound.

Thank you again Highlights for sending our lamp over! Until our next box to send ☺️

Just a positive note about my experience with highlight express this week. I delivered my 3 medium sized boxes to their office in London. I had driven from Birmingham because I missed their rounds in the West Midlands and I wanted my balikbayan boxes to reach home in no time. Sharon (owner of the firm) was very helpful. She helped me to re packed my stuff, sorted the paperwork out and loaded to their van within an hour. She's very organise. I have been using Highlight in the past 30 years and so far I am very happy with their services. Their counterpart in the Philippines is also efficient. They even provided me with an ETA as to when the goods would arrive and sure enough after 8 weeks the boxes were delivered to my family. Why employ someone who lacks customer service skills? Mr.R***d, if I recall correctly, should not be assigned to the front desk or customer interaction, especially over the phone, given his attitude. During our recent conversation, I wasn't prepared with the shipment number, so I provided my name. Mr. R raised his voice, claiming he had to search through files or the system for my details. Isn't it his job to do so? He unnecessarily complicated the conversation with numerous tasks to update me, which escalated tensions. Eventually, he located my name and the recipient's name. Then he asked about the province the boxes were going to, despite it being clearly indicated on the receipt. He claimed it was for verification purposes, but questioning the province before the recipient's name seemed illogical. Mr.R also informed me that updates were sent to existing customers last month via text in February. He stated that the reason for not reaching out to me was due to the absence of my number on the A4 receipt. Yet, they initially obtained my number when I arranged box delivery and collection through calls and text messages. It's the company's responsibility to update existing customers, especially in the case of delays.

Overall, I'm dissatisfied with the customer service provided. Mr.R behaves as if he's doing customers a favor, asserting control and shutting down dialogue. Unless Mr.R is a family member, his attitude reflects poorly on your company. Highlight Express, it's crucial to address the quality of your customer support, as it represents your company's image.

Importantly, I contacted to follow up on the three boxes collected in late November 2023 (21st) that haven't been delivered yet. It's been over three months now, significantly beyond the promised two and a half months delivery period. I will be in touch to further address this matter.
