I recommend getting your services done here! They helped me decide my best options for my project, which wasn’t the easiest. We had a bit of a challenge, but Alex was honest and held up his word with great work. I also greatly appreciated the quick service , and timely manner to get the project completed. The barrel, threading and gunsmithing machine works that I am not capable of. He did a top notch job.

I scheduled and went to drop off a barrel for threading thinking I'll pick it up a week later per our discussion. Even for a week turn-around, it would had been great regardless.

After a quick inspection of the rifle, he offered to do the threading for same day in an hour after he figured and was able to remove the barrel . Holy cow, of course! That would save me another trip out to Vernonia for sure. I went to grab a bite to eat in town and returned later as he was just finishing up.

He showed me the final process and explained a lot of stuff. Very nice guy and knowledgeable, fun to chat about firearms in general as well. The threading work was great, the service is beyond awesome and the pricing was good. I'm a happy customer and would not hesitate to recommend. Look forward to being a repeat customer. Thanks!

This young man knows his stuff and explains his work quite well. Prices are fair and he got the job done fast. I mean really fast. My only gripe is how far I had to drive, but it was worth it. If you have a lever action rifle you want threaded, he's your guy.

I brought in a 12 gauge side-by-side that has been in storage for 54 years. It was looking pretty bad. It was a hand me down from my father who died in 1970, And I wanted to save the shotgun. Vernonia Machine Works not only stripped it and re-blued it but also replaced worn out parts. I'm extremely happy with the work that was done. I strongly recommend this shop for your gun needs.

I feel like I should review here just because I had a great experience. I met Alex somewhat random and he turned out to be very knowledgeable, as well as being very reasonable on his price and did the job very fast. I can't say any way he could have performed better. I'm very happy and will absolutely return to him when I need more help with my firearms.
