Craters and Freighters picked up and crated my very rare and valuable antique radio and shipped it from California to Tennessee. I was very favorably impressed with the care they showed in wrapping the radio and then with the quality of the crate they fabricated. Stephanie was very helpful and sent me pictures of the crate and the radio before it was shipped. This was the first time I ever used a service like this to ship something this large and heavy (375 pounds in the crate) and it arrived safely. These people are professionals, and they take pride in their work. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Excellent service and handling, impeccable level of care and detail was enough for me to take a minute to leave a review. This company recently handled a high-priority, high-urgency request for our company. Stephanie and Erik were two of the people that we were in contact with throughout the process and they went above and beyond to make sure communication was clearly understood on both ends. I write less than one negative review a year. Craters & Freighters of Orange County have earned my attention and review. My brother in law dropped 11 boxes off at their facility on 6/30. Boxes contained my mothers possessions that were being shipped to my home in WA as part of her move to an assisted living facility. On 7/16, I called their 800 number and then also spoke with their Orange County manager Eric. We had a please conversation. He explained that it takes 7 - 10 days for them to package and process shipments and that it had not been shipped yet. I politely reminded him that it had already been 17 days. He said he would make sure they were shipped the next day. I did receive a message the next day telling me they were shipped. We've had to buy additional clothing for my mother during this wait. Yesterday (my mother's 92nd birthday) my brother in law received a text confirmation that the boxes were shipped. Assuming they were, even with my 7/16 inquiries, it took 22 days for them to ship 11 boxes. We do hope we receive them in the next few days. I cannot recommend this company and recommend you use some other shipper.

I used them to package and ship an antique cabinet (with curved glass) from California to Dallas. The shipping company they used had some hiccups but craters & Freighters were on top of it and got it corrected. They made sure I stayed informed and the shipping was fixed. Despite its extra long journey to NC, the cabinet arrived in one piece. They did an excellent job securing it and making sure no glass was broken. Highly recommend them!
