Yak & Yeti Movers were absolutely phenomenal! I recently hired them to move from a 2-bedroom apartment in San Francisco to a house in Pleasanton, and the experience was flawless from start to finish.

The 3-person crew showed up ahead of time, which immediately set a great tone for the day. They were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient throughout the entire move. What really stood out was how considerate they were—they catered to every request, no matter how small, and made sure everything was exactly how and where I wanted it.

They went above and beyond at every step, handling my belongings with great care and attention. Despite the usual chaos that comes with moving, this felt like a zero-stress experience thanks to their organization and positive attitude.

Yak & Yeti moved our adult son’s belongings from his San Francisco apartment to a storage facility in Oakland. Communications in advance of the move were excellent. We had to make a last-minute scheduling change and they were flexible and helpful with that. Jorge, Luis, and Santos, the movers, were fantastic: careful, efficient, and thoughtful. They wrapped all the furniture in plastic and the breakable items in a layer of cardboard as well. Loading and unloading were remarkably quick! We’ve never had a better moving experience. We recommend Y&Y without reservation!

I was in a bind and needed to get a couple very large pieces of furniture out of a house by 3pm. I had foolishly thought I could do it myself by disassembling them. When I realized the items didn’t come apart easily, I called Yak and Yeti for help. Lucky for me they had an opening and came right over to help mw out. They have a two hour minimum and the job took about 45 min to an hour. They were quick, efficient, careful, and professional. All the items they moved were carefully loaded into my truck (at my request) and wrapped in plastic to prevent damage while being moved. They were even very careful after the items were in MY truck to ensure there were pads in place where the hold down straps contacted the furniture so no damage would occur while I drove the items to their destination. This, to me, shows that they have a habit of loading things carefully and caring about the things they move. They really helped me out of a bind, and were great to work with. I highly recommend them!

We just used them to help move some items within our house as well as assembling a brand new loft bed from Macys that came in way too many pieces. Santos, Jorge and Manuel did such an incredible job and they were nothing but pleasant, respectful and timely! Definitely will use them again. Amazing work.

Yak & Yeti were very responsive to my online request. Had a very thorough conversation over the phone with Jacob- who got everything set up and scheduled. Then I got notifications confirming my delivery date and letting me know what to expect- via text and email.
The crew of 3 had all the moving equipment they needed and protected all my furniture with moving blankets and plastic wrap.
The leader of the crew checked to make sure which items needed to go. They navigated the small condo elevator with ease and I trusted them with my possessions.

BOOK THEM!!! This past weekend I recently used Yak & Yeti Movers, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I had called nine different places before deciding, and I chose Yak & Yeti because Jacob was amazing—super knowledgeable, patient, and answered all of my questions without any pressure. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and incredibly thoughtful with my belongings.

The movers arrived fully prepared and took great care with all of my furniture—everything was wrapped properly, and nothing was damaged. One of the biggest things I appreciated was how transparent they were about the timing and cost. They called during the move to let me know it might take an extra hour and asked if I was okay with that. The extra time was due to the many stairs at my new place on the third floor, and it ended up taking just 45 minutes more. They only charged me for that exact time, which I really respected.

The three movers (Santos, Manuel, and Jorge) were friendly, respectful, quick and knew what they were doing. They even managed to get my impossible couch up two flights of stairs—something I could have never done on my own.

This move was worth every penny. There’s no way I could’ve done it without them. Plus, they were able to get me 3 movers on a Saturday with a 4 day notice!

Santos, Manuel, and Jorge helped me move from 4 bed house to 2 bed apartment. It was a lot of work especially since the apartment is on third floor with no elevator!
We split the move into two days and they were excellent both times. Always with cheerful spirits and willing to help with anything I needed. And the company in general was great to deal with, took all my stress away. Totally recommend.
