Really horrible experience.

DHL San Francisco Gateway office appears to have little or no interest in providing even basic level of service. Worst shipping experience in more than 30 years. If they put in 1/10 of the energy pushing me to authorize delivery without a signature they might have found the time in past 5 days to actually make the delivery. I will definitely be more selective when ordering online to avoid vendors that use DHL.

It is particularly galling to see tracking comments like “Delivery attempt could not be completed” while at home when driver has supposedly tried to make delivery attempts - really - and then to see the same comment used 3 more times. There have been NO delivery attempts made - zero. This is the coding SF Gateway office uses to game their KPIs so that HQ doesn’t clean house.

After seeing how SF office was gaming their system I reverted to using DHL on-line tool to have package redirected to a Mail Boxes Plus location. SF office continues to use code “Delivery attempt could not be completed” to conceal fact that again there was no attempt made.

This experience makes pretty clear that Amazon, FedEx, or UPS should put these incompetents at DHL out of their misery so they can get back to playing minesweeper.

I don't know if it's true for other locations, but this particular hub in San Francisco is absolutely terrible. Had two packages shipped internationally and both have been delayed by them. One was marked as attempted delivery twice, but I was home both times and they never showed up. They finally delivered it after I called and confronted them about it. Now, I'm expecting another delivery from Latvia. It has taken 3 days to cross the ocean and arrive at this location, which was 6 days ago, and they still haven't delivered it the final 15 miles to my door. Ridiculous!

Apparently worse delivery service of all time, express shipment from Australia took forever back and forth between San Francisco and San Jose saying service drop off location address is incorrect which is provided by DHL site, funny. They should say we are lazy to delivered your shipment wait extra days

They lie cheat and steal!!!! Don't use Them bad service and thief drivers. They told me a package was put in my backyard! Why? When I have a porch. Liars!!!!! Hate them and because the GPS shows the driver was on my street they feel that it's okay. Where is my package? Don't do business with DHL

I dont know where to start, I am very frustrated with this courier, I have two parcel with different tracking number from Japan, also different area from, I kept tracking the first parcel and its say the parcel have not yet arrive.the other one I received a text saying my another DHL parcel with be deliver on july 13, so it did at that day, I was very excited of course, then I kept tracking the first one online and it say still have not arrive, so I waited for 3 days again then I contact the seller from japan with my 1st parcel and she also wondering why its not here yet, fast forward... the next day I check online again, and it says delivered... but the shocking part it was the second one that was deliver but they marked it as deliver for both... I been calling the costumer service and also sending message to let them know it was not delivered.so until now I dont know what happen to my first item. I dont know what to do... oh and I have a proof that the delivery person only put one box of DHL parcel in my door. Did not even bother to ring the bell...... -0 star for this DHL.can somebody put the direct contact number of DHL San francisco? I want to contact them..thank you!! Plz help..

I'm waiting for a package since last week and I don't leave the house to wait for the delivery man all day, and they never arrive but the funny thing is that they only send an email that says we're sorry and lying that I wasn't there, I call customer services and I just they wash their hands, and they don't leave a note like UPS, nor does the package in a DHL office, very bad service, I don't recommend it.

I called to request my package to be sent to a pick up location office and they didn’t notify me that upon request my package will be delayed by another day. The lady was rude and got smart with me. Will not be working with this company again!

I've been trying to receive my package for 5 days, every day they say it will be between the end of the day, or that the next day is sure to deliver! they won't let me do pickup
