What a wonderful airport!! We stopped for fuel on our way back from Florida to Wisconsin on March 28th 2024. After a short fuel, oil and bathroom break. We had a starting problem with our airplane. I called Thomas Main to get some assistance. He was an asset the minute he answered the phone. He was able to send out Leo with some tools to help me out. After 90 minutes on the ground. We were up and running again. The aviation community never lets me down. Wonderful people, wonderful facilities. 07A Franklin Field is the real deal. We will definitely stop again in our travels. We are all in a better place with airports like this.

Such a cute FBO convenient to east Montgomery. If you come in and park your car during the morning using the gate code and the gate doesn’t close, be sure to grab some paper towels and wipe off the gate monitor (on the same side where you input the code). When I texted early on a Saturday regarding this issue I received an almost immediately answer, which is even more greatly appreciated because Franklin field relies on volunteers 💙

Franklin Field is my favorite airport! Fuel prices are never gouged, facilities are kept clean and tidy, management is friendly and accommodating, and it’s a true general aviation airport that allows pilots to enjoy themselves and enjoy what General Aviation is all about.

The FBO is beautiful. I recommend you stop by here and check it out. The team who manages the field is extremely helpful. I had some issues with my plane and they assisted me with getting everything worked out and letting me borrow the crew car to help me along. I cannot recommend coming here enough.

My son who’s a pilot flew into Franklin Field for the first time. He was very pleasantly surprised with how accommodating y’all are and only 20 minutes from home. Thank y’all . He said he’d be back.

Best airport in Alabama. Truly honest, no nonsense, non attended, self help place. Great fuel pumps and best fuel price. Restrooms always clean and tidy. Nice courtesy car, and Wi-Fi. Wonderful for passing thru or visitors.

Very nice airport with a courtesy vehicle and 24/7 terminal, self serve. Definitely worth stopping in even if it's not your destination
