If any of you are moving or know someone that will be moving soon or every, tell them to NOT use Bekins / Wheaton moving companies.
Not only did they delay our pick up, forcing me to rebook a flight and pay more money but then they misjudged our load, ended up leaving a lot of our boxes behind which they picked up days later. I was already in California and thank goodness a friend was so kind to go meet them to pick up the rest of the items. After that they took 3 weeks to deliver it to us.
Since delivery we have noticed several items missing which we had pictures of as they were loading them and now they are claiming they have no record of the items and therefore do not have to pay a claim. Some items were just monetary losses and others were sentimental which is the harder hits.

I never write poor reviews on companies. I normally go with, “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all”. Well this is the exception. I am 63 years old. I have moved to the east coast twice, along with moves within Southern California and the New York Tri-State area. I am also an interior designer for close to forty-five years. I am very familiar with the moving of furniture. And in all my years I have never experienced anything like the appalling service I received from Bekins Storage Solutions, Santa Fe Springs, California.

Many of my furnishings were in storage for close to six years with Bekins. When picked up from my home in Newport Beach, initially everything was professionally and neatly packed into large wood containers. Everything inventoried with “check off” sheets and numerical inventory stickers.

Over the years I had paid Bekins tens of thousands of dollars for storage.

The day my furnishings were delivered it was the furthest thing from professional. They did not watch the truck properly and my items began to get stolen off the truck. Repeatedly I asked for them to watch the truck. But they did not. Also, they chose not to carry the boxes up the stairs, but to throw them up the stairs. This causing many boxes to become damaged. My Donghia sofa had been re-wrapped in movers blankets, not the original ones, but ones that had oil stains and tire marks. Somehow while my items were in storage, they were ransacked, with many things stolen or broken, and no longer useable. Over $20,000 worth of loss and damage of my personal furnishings. Bekins took absolutely no responsibility for any of this. I highly recommend, DO NOT USE THE SERVICES OF BEKINS MOVING SOLUTIONS, SANTA FE SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA.

My experience with Bekins was amazing! The movers came within the time frame provided, carefully loaded all my precious furniture and stuff, and within 3-4 hours transported them to my new place. Everything went smoothly, all my furniture, glasses, cups, etc, got to my new place in excellent shape, not a scratch! The movers crew were amazing, respectful and answered all my questions. Quality service!!! I’d recommend them a thousand times!!

From beginning to end, this company was outstanding. It started with my sales rep, Nancy Chatelain, who walked me through every part of the process, explaining everything and answering all of my questions. She is knowledgeable and professional. She even came over on moving day to assure everything was in line with what I needed.
Then came the movers. Chris Bennett and his co-worker, who let me know they were on their way and arrived on time! They took tremendous care in packing up my furniture and other items, clearly assuring nothing would be damaged. (They even packed my light bulbs with great care!) They took care not to bump any walls or soil my carpets. They were friendly and very professional. When they arrived at my destination to unload, they placed everything just the way I wanted it, they were swift and efficient. Everything arrived in perfect condition and nothing was missing. They cleaned up everything before they left.
I highly recommend this company and the people involved. I could not have been any happier!

The movers that came and helped us with the house were amazing, top notch, we have another move scheduled in 6 months and we will be calling and requesting Victor Lopez and his crew to help us again. Victor and his crew are top notch! Best moving experience of my life! I was very nervous at first but I felt very good by the end. I had Victor Lopez, Jessica Lopez, Jose Galvez, Juan Garcia were taking care of us. Definitely request this crew for your move. I would recommend them to everyone!

Our move from CA to Texas went smoothly from the pack out to the delivery. We really appreciated the professional attitude of the crew and driver. Nancy Chatelain was our initial Bekins contact and she went above and beyond to make our move successful. When we wanted to get our van back from an airport in another state, Nancy was able to refer us to an affordable auto transport company which quickly got our van shipped to our home and made our move so much easier. We would definitely like to use Bekins again.

I recently used Bekins Moving Solutions ( BMS ) to move my mom from California to North Carolina. Moving is always an arduous, time consuming process which can be very stressful and emotional. There are many interactions between the customer and moving company during a move and the one key element that is essential to assuring customer satisfaction is communication. My agents Kevin and Ellen were absolutely great. I could reach them most of the time and if I couldn't reach them they returned my calls the same day. Very refreshing. With these two professionals, I knew what was happening during all phases of this move. The three Bekins movers that performed the wrapping and packing were right on time and they were extremely courteous and exercised great care in how that wrapped my mom's belongings. Relocation Services ( a third party crating company ) sent two gentleman that were on time and did a great job in crating a grandmother's clock and two glass table tops. the following morning, Quinton, our driver, and two gentleman, Kai and Pete, were right on time at 8:00 AM to load the 53 foot truck. These three men loaded the truck with great precision and some items had to be carried down 3 flights of stairs due to the elevator being too small. Quinton gave me an estimated time of arrival of 10 to 11 days and sure enough, that is when my mom's belongings arrived. The entire inventory was accounted for with no damage and the final price was actually less than the estimated value. I could not have scripted this move any better than how it actually happened. The hard working professionals at BMS definitely take pride in what they do and care about satisfying their customers. I will not hesitate to use BMS again for all of my moving needs and I give my highest recommendation to any and all who desire a move to be done the right way.
