Cool store. We've been coming here for decades. Sadly, people don't donate like they used to. Behind registers used to be shelves of products and neat stuff. It's still a good place for affordable clothes and might find a treasure here and there. Love, they didn't jump on the overpriced vinyl bandwagon. Staff has always been friendly. We still love this place.

My rating is as a donator. I always donate here and have found the things I donated inside the store being sold, however, today when I dropped off items (12/16/24 around 4:40pm) a young Caucasian man made me feel like I was annoying him by being there. He made me explain what a wall hanging was before he accepted it as though he thought it was trash, I paid over $100 for it less than a year ago. I will donate elsewhere next time.

went to Amvet's today. the parking lot was EMPTY.. so weird. normally, senior day has a line to get in....Well...I soon discovered why. New management is out to take every one of your pennies. they have reduced the veterans 20% discount to 10%. they have reduced the seniors day discount from 20% to 10%. they've done away altogether with their Thursday, student and teachers discount, and they will only do one color discount a day at 50% rather than the two one at 50% the other at 75%. and they don't combine any discounts anymore. so if you're a senior. Or a veteran, you can not get that on top of the daily discount anymore. You can have one or the other. and if you have a 50% off item, you have to get back in line in order to get that 50% off if you're a senior or a veteran. Because they will not ring up one with the other. so today, I was FORCED to only Ring up my regular priced items with my 10% senior discount. Then anything that was the daily 50% off, I had to keep in my cart. Turn around, get back in line and wait to ring them up separately..no...im not joking. They refused to do separate ringing in an effort to Make it as Inconvenient as possible for you to get a discount. The discount that they offered to get you here to begin with.. So..if you are a senior or a veteran and you have 10 things in your cart, you can ring them all up at your discount 10%. But if you happen to have a daily 50% off, they won't give you that at 50% off, you have to get back in line. It's really messed up. and the poor cashiers feel terrible because they've got management Watching them like Hawks and will punish them if they try to do the right thing. Unbelievable...just ridiculous. Last bit...pricing isnhigher in regular clothes.

I loved shopping here but the prices as gotten pricey for donated/used clothing. Rather buy new clothing for the same price.

Folks are always friendly and more than able to answer questions. I’m very impressed with the professionalism that they put out even under the current situation with homeless vandalism on the outside and arson attempts in the recent months.

Avets thrift store has been a good store. But I have a one respectfully recommendation. Now in days prices for all items have gone up. Where now you have to pay $6 to almost $8 for 1 shirt. I definitely understand that were in a era that is called inflation. But since the inflation we cannot or don't have enough money to go to other bargain stores. So the best option would be a thrift store. But if we have thrift stores and cannot afford clothes or such. How are we supposed to supply our and our families need. Please Avets thrift store, I respectfully ask to lower down prices. Would truly appreciate it. Thank you. Sincerely, a faithful costumer.
