I came in to have a friend of mine dye my hair. I was told I needed to pay the seat fee which was fine because I was being a model for my friend. It wasn’t until the service started after my friend cut my hair that it became a very unpleasant experience.
My friend washed and gave me a basic haircut. I then showed her a picture of a deep burgundy that I wanted to achieve. She said it wouldn’t be a problem since there was an instructor there. Before they started to dye my hair the principal came over and questioned why I wasn’t being charged for a complete service even though my friend wanted to use me as a model. After they came to terms with what I paid, the principal then began to scold my friend over her before pictures and videos. After that situation they bleached my hair, which I was told it was only going to be at my roots and ended up being my whole head. Part way through bleaching my hair the principal sent home the instructor after he requested to stay longer and help my friend with the dye. So she was alone the rest of the time. She felt super flustered and when it came time to put the red dye in, there was no one around helping her to tell her she needed to add the developer. It’s so frustrating because we used 5 tubes of dye and mid way through purchasing the dye the principal changed the price and requested we pay the difference. A huge waste of money given she didn’t have proper instructions on how to use them.
After sitting there for 5 hours my hair came out orange, none of the dye took and my hair looked horrendous. When we showed the principal the outcome she insisted I come back the next day and continue to buy more Products rather than have them fix it for free.
My friend felt so bad, but at the end of the day she did the absolute best she could with the lack of instruction and lack of help from anyone at the school.
I would never wish such an awful experience on anyone.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Cosmotek college Hayward that offers a range of spa services, and I was thoroughly impressed with both the quality of the treatments and the professionalism of the students. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, with a modern and clean aesthetic that immediately set the tone for a great experience.

I had a facial and I was genuinely impressed with the level of skill and attention to detail. The instructor overseeing the students was also very engaging and made sure that everything was done correctly, which added an extra layer of comfort and trust.

It’s clear that this beauty school not only focuses on giving their students hands-on experience but also provides excellent customer service. I left feeling pampered and rejuvenated, and I can’t wait to return for my next treatment.

Overall, I highly recommend Cosmotek Hayward if you're looking for a professional spa experience at a fraction of the price. It’s the perfect balance of education, expertise, and relaxation.

Cosmotek College is the BEST beauty school in the Bay!

I attended this school last year in SJ and it was wonderful! The staff is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. They care about their students and are always easily approachable 💛 Hours of operation is unbeatable! This school is set up for students to succeed and pass their state board exam! Cosmotek is also always teaching the latest beauty trends 😍

I am so excited to be a returning student 🤗 I completed the Manicuring program at their original SJ location Fall of last year. Since then they moved their SJ location, still in SJ, to a bigger and better facility with so many amenities.

Cosmotek brought all of that SJ energy and MORE to Hayward! I am so proud to be a Cosmetology student at Cosmotek! The school just keeps getting better and better!! They have the BEST staff, are always teaching the latest trends, want their students to succeed, and they always mean well <3 If you are hesitant about enrolling, like every single one of us was 😆, Cosmotek is always happy to provide a tour during business hours 🤗 When you become a student, you become a part of a community that you will never forget ❤️ Thank you Cosmotek!! 😄

What an incredible beauty facility! I’ve never seen such a luxurious beauty academy before. I came in for a deep cleansing facial, which included blackhead removal, pore cleansing, and an LED mask finish—it was amazing! The treatment left my skin feeling so refreshed and rejuvenated. I also got a full tour of the facilities, and I was absolutely blown away. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for top-notch beauty care with a zen space and vibes

For students from the Central Valley, including Stockton and Fresno, Cosmotek College is the answer we've been waiting for. We came here for a school field trip and they gave us a very detailed tour which I loved. There are many opportunities here and also flexible scheduling etc. They also have new courses coming in that aren’t already included with all the other courses. So you don’t have to worry about what to do because there’s so much to do here. The space is very calming and welcoming. Cosmotek gives you different ways of payment as well as a scholarship from them. Overall, I loved it and look forward to seeing more of the school.

I have the opportunity to check out Cosmotek new campus Hayward. I have to say this new campus is beyond beautiful. From study supplies and tools for student to access are all top line quality products. Each room is specious and is separate for each program which allow the students to learn and perform at the highest level. I have taken program at Cosmotek last year and recently graduated. After touring this and see how beautiful this new campus is. I might come back and join Cosmotek with another program.

Cosmotek College is truly an excellent school for the beauty industry. My friends studied here and highly recommended it to me.
