What a great moving experience. We relocated from a large home to a condo and couldn't have picked a better company to work with. After multiple interviews with moving companies, we selected Universal Services. The crew came out a day before the move to wrap and pad the furniture. On moving day, they were there on time and worked tirelessly until the job was done, which was very late afternoon. This company provides top notch service, listened to our directions and placed items where we wanted them. A big shout out to Hector, Angel and Isaac. In addition, the company followed up post move to check that all was satisfactory. Very professional and friendly with the entire process!

Even though the temperature was over 100 degrees the day of our move, the 2 men assigned to our project were pleasant and kind the entire time. They were careful handling the furniture and were helpful in their suggestions about furniture placement in the new home which was part of an assisted living facility. The office staff was also helpful in guiding us through the entire process. We would absolutely recommend them for your next move.

Update: the owner, Nikki, took the extra step to not just read this review, but called me personally to ask what could be done to satisfy me. It was apparent how much pride she takes in her business and how much my dissatisfaction hurt her. For that level of care alone, I can now recommend Universal Services.

Terrible experience. Arrived late after giving us 1 day’s notice they were unilaterally moving our appointment up 90 minutes early. Damaged property in a 2 mile move. Lied about when they began charging (it’s from when they leave their office to when they return). Embellished travel times that were over-estimates by 50%. When they charge $200/hr, that’s important. Horrible business. If you can find honest movers, hold onto them with both hands. Universal Services isn’t it.

Jim and Jeff were amazing. They were on time, professional and more importantly they were very considerate of my elderly mother and her belongings. I can’t say enough about them and would recommend Universal to anyone making any kind of move. I was quoted what I felt was a fair price and was charged well under the quote.. That never happens to me. Universal is the best.

We recently moved from an apartment in Pewaukee and a storage locker in Lannon to Grafton. We had 4 movers. They had to go up and down 20 steps at the apartment every time they got more boxes and furniture. Then when we got to our new house, they couldn't drive on the driveway because we had new concrete. They were amazing! Nothing broken, nothing scratched. They knew all the tricks to get everything in the house seamlessly. I would definitely recommend Universal Services, and if we ever move again, will be using them!
