I recently bought four oriental carpets by Internet auction from Material Culture in Philadelphia. Their site recommended this shipping service, which was great to work with. I sent email just after the auction and they responded within 20 minutes, asking me for the lot #s so they could check the size and weight. They provided an estimate, and came in lower than that when they actually packaged the items (some smaller ones could easily fit inside a bigger one). The textiles arrived yesterday in excellent shape, gently folded and slightly rolled, such that there was zero wear and tear form the process. I recommend this Packaging Store highly and would use them again without hesitation. My email interactions were with Zach and AJ, who were both very responsive and efficient.

I was requested a quote for shipping my 3 Erte's bronze sculptures to my warehouse in NY. At that location local guys do the crate for shipping it as cargo to Dubai. The guys from The Packaging Store made the quote and I got the idea to ask them if they could do the wooden crate, so it won't be necessary to repack it in NY. We agreed with price and they've picked up my sculptures from auction house. So, when I've got them finally in Dubai and opened the crate, I was shocked - each sculpture was packed with separate pieces of material, which were cut by hand based on sculpture's shape!

I had the BEST experience ever with The Packaging Store! I won a bid for a 1830's Majolica jardiniere, a very delicate porcelain piece. I live in California and the item was in Pennsylvania. I was given an estimate from the Packaging Store, but later found a less expensive price from the UPS Store, which I decided to use. The owner and staff of the Packaging Store were very concerned because the jardiniere was so delicate, fragile and old, and they contacted me to discuss my decision to use UPS. Long story short, I decided not to chance breakage by using a less expensive service and went with the Packaging Store. They made a special crate for the jardiniere and individually cut plastic foam pieces around the piece thus making it extra secure. I received "white glove" service from the shipper, who brought the item into our house and carefully unpackaged it. I am so happy that I opted to pay more to not risk damage. The Packaging Store was not just trying to get extra money for the job...they actually cared enough about the vintage item getting to me safely and securely! Can't say enough great things about The Packaging Store!

I purchased a large, framed lithography in the USA. It was difficult to find a shipper who could pack and send this item to Switzerland. I contacted three packaging companies. Packaging Store made the best offer and had a great idea how to package my framed lithography. They constructed a crate that fully protected this breakable objected and sent it to Switzerland. When I had problems with the delivery of the package, they contacted FedEx and made them delivering the crate that had been stored for unknown reasons during more that 2 weeks in a FedEx in facility in Switzerland.
