Bruno, with custom built metals, is the best material rep in the state! they are on time with their orders. and have the best material. When I had any questions about what product is best for the situation. he guides you throughout the process. And makes sure I get what I need!!

This is the worst company from management to everything else. The lack of professionalism and work exploitation. Always being micromanaged and they are never grateful for all the hard work you put in. The worst customer service as well. Working in an unprofessional and unsafe environment where violence was presented and no one did anything Intel things just got out of hand. This really affected me emotionally. This place should close down or have a change of management.

I have contacted Custom Bilt Metals in the Portland, OR store multiple times over a 2 month period to check the status of an order we placed and paid for in full for flashing material. The Portland store did not have the color we wanted so they ordered it from another location. I was told it would take a week to get the material and a week or two to fabricate. After a month or so without hearing from them I called to check on the status. I was told the other branch had shipped the wrong color and they had placed an order from their manufacturer. I was told Johnnie Gibson would give me a call back for status. Still no call from him or anyone at the company. At this point I have lost count on the number of times I have called only to hear the material hasn’t been received. Finally I asked if any of the other branches had the color we needed and Mark check and found the material. I then received a call from Johnnie last Friday and he was promised the material would be shipped that day or Monday, would he promised he would personally follow up to make sure everything would go as promised. I called him yesterday, Thursday, he said he was right in the middle of something and would call me back shortly. I never heard back from him. I called this morning, which is the day it was to be ready for pickup, and learned from Missy that the material hadn’t been received.
I don’t like to be lied to or ignored as a paying customer. I understand we are just a private party trying to get flashing made but if they would have told us we were too small of an order or they couldn’t complete the order I would have understood and respected them as a business.
After 2 months of trying to do business with CBM I have requested my order be cancelled and my money to be returned in full.
I hope they can complete the refund in a much faster manor than they complete, or not, orders.

I have reached out to the folks at Custom Bilt Metals multiple times over a 9 day period to get roofing for a sauna project I have partially constructed. I was initially connected with John Gibson who was super helpful over the phone and asked me to email him so he could quote me and get my roofing ordered. As anyone with an uncovered roof in Rainy October I am anxious to get my roof on as soon as possible to protect my investment. I emailed John as requested, and have never received a response to that email or any email or call since. I have followed up several times and only been able to speak to the receptionist, who was very friendly and proffessional.

From my understanding they are very busy (as most construction material suppliers are at this time), but what I can't understand is why I can't even get a call back- even to tell me they can't handle my order which I could respect because at least then I'm not getting blown off. I don't know the situation beyond this and really don't care to go on guessing because there has been absolutely no communication. As someone who is in sales myself I can't imagine not calling back a lead that wants to pay me money! I would unfortunately not recommend at this time.

We had the best experience with CBM PDX! Their customer service puts them above the local competitors because of their relationship building approach and local route deliveries. The new management is holding people accountable and are trying to change the old reputation. I would highly recommend them for all of your metal roofing and gutter needs!

This is the worst place to work or have as a supplier. They consistently send customers the wrong supplies. Their equipment is not maintained to dot standards. Bald tires on the trailers and broken lift gates. Heavy supplies. If you don't have a forklift to unload your supplies how is it supposed to be unloaded off a truck bed? Complaints go unresolved. If you can get your gutter supplies elsewhere, do it. They don't care about their name in the business world obviously. Their responsibility was to provide safe transportation of supplies to their customers. They didn't provide weight documents in THEIR truck my husband received a ticket from DOT inspection and it was their responsibility. Didn't pay the ticket now 6 months later the state is suspending his license for their shortcomings. They are looking at a BIG lawsuit!!! You don't mess with someone's livelihood and expect them to be ok with it!!! Bad management and lousy place to deal with. It's on now.

I needed an outdated flashing and i was coming up with a big zero. Thanks to CBMetals for coming to our rescue. They made an exact replica and did it in a super timely fashion. Great service and staff !!!
