Clean operation and facility. really enjoyed meeting and dealing with Whitney who is the office manager she went through all the options with me showed me a couple units was very cordial and friendly at the same time she was helpful and professional. she took the time and effort to work out some details for me so that my rental experience would be the best which it is and will be as long as Whitney is there to help.

I've had a horrible experience all around from the very first phone call where the representative was rude and snazzy after speaking to me about 30 minutes. I was not aware of the area and wanted a facility that was inside, climate controlled, and within 15-20 minutes of my home. I had another issue when the representative put the wrong move-in date so they had to credit me $50. But the biggest issue is that I hired 4 movers and a 26" inch U-Haul Truck for the move from my apartment to the facility and once we arrived the facility was NOT CLIMATE CONTROLLED. I was so upset b/c I have over 55 boxes of books for my profession and outside activities/hobbies that can now become damaged. I've never secured a storage unit without climate control. I called back to speak with the manager who told me her district manager would have to approve a refund or transfer. After thinking about it, I called back on Friday to say I'd prefer the refund. I hadn't even heard back from the district manager. They keep pushing me from Whitney, Nicole, Kristine and Sam. I am very frustrated with this business and how they handled this situation. I will never use them again or recommend their services.

*Update on August 9, 2024**
I had a senior district manager call me yesterday to help resolve the issues of the wrong units and to make me feel like my time, money, and effort mattered. Jennifer was very reasonable, respectable, and kind to me over the phone. Everyone I spoke with at the Pelham location was very nice, but they lacked finding a solution or getting information to the higher up individuals that could confirm my refund and stay during August. Jennifer made everything whole by giving me a complete refund and will be letting me stay until the end of the month so I'll have time to move my belongings to a different location. I feel so much more relief when individuals, especially those working with the public, communicate effectively and get things done. While this was likely a miscommunication from the phone with the rep (not affiliated w/the location), there should have been a representative from the Pelham facility to call and double-check my order. Hopefully, they'll implement a better system so mixups and accidents like this don't occur. Nobody likes to move and this situation made it worse. Nonetheless, I am satisfied with the solution. I'd recommend you visit the facility, speak to a live agent at the facility, and get what you pay for if you rent with Public Storage. The managers on duty were very nice and professional--they had good attitudes even when I was frustrated.
