Update: This has been resolved, but my brother had to travel a few hours to talk to them in person. They did not resolve it till after several calls and his visit.

My grandparents’ monument in Salem Cemetery was destroyed over 4 years ago. The insurance paid Oates Monument the money to restore it, yet after many phone calls, the only thing we are getting is excuses. My brother has called them several times the past few months, and even though it the insurance paid, and it has been 4 years, they still are making excuses as to why they can’t get it replaced.

I order 2 tombstones for my brothers last year in February. Michael told me it would be ready in about 3 months. When I called them in 4.5 months. His wife said it would be about 12 months. I said he didn't tell me that initially. Then a year passes by I approve the designs on the stones however I did not like the font. I find a font that I like sends it to them. The wife emails me back I changed the font as requested. I said approved. That was the only thing I had an issue with was the font. She changed the design as well. If someone tells you they changed the font, I don't expect them to change the design also. 15 months and no tombstones. I will never do business with them ever again. I would not recommend you do business with them either no matter how long they have been in business. They are not trustworthy.

Kristen and Mike and their staff are wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable. They have done the granite countertops in both bathrooms and my kitchen. Recommend them to everyone!!

Called re: an order. Takes time for headstone service and delivery has been a problem with all the rain. Repeat customer. Have always been pleased with results. Good demand for this in this area.
