Had a great experience with AirRyd getting my son's '98 BMW 328 shipped from California to Colorado Springs. If you’ve never shipped a car before, here’s what you need to know: AirRyd isn’t the transporter—they’re the broker that finds a carrier to do the job. That’s an important distinction because they’re the ones making the connections, negotiating pricing, and keeping everything on track.

From the start, Carter at AirRyd was super responsive and easy to work with. I had a lot of questions (probably more than most), and he always replied quickly and clearly. The original pickup location was a little tricky, but AirRyd helped adjust things to make it easier to find a carrier. Once a transporter was locked in, things moved fast—pickup in Bakersfield, delivery to my door in just a couple of days.

The final cost was $1,089, which was fair given the distance and that an enclosed carrier ended up taking the car. Payment was simple, and they were upfront about everything—including the fact that tipping isn’t expected but always appreciated.

A few things to keep in mind if you're using AirRyd (or any broker):
🚗 Be flexible with timing—exact pickup and drop-off times aren’t guaranteed.
🚗 Sometimes shifting the pickup location makes a big difference in getting a carrier faster.
🚗 Carriers don’t always have online reviews, but AirRyd does their vetting for you.

Bottom line: AirRyd made the whole process smooth, kept me in the loop, and delivered exactly as promised. My son is pumped to have his car, and I’d definitely use them again!

I needed to ship my Cadillac Blackwing from Houston to New Jersey, I had a bad experience years ago shipping an Escalade with a company that had terrible communication and left me in the dark after the initial booking and my Escalade came with fluid leaked all over it from the vehicle above it so I was being extremely cautious about my beautiful new black car. I made it very clear to Wes that the car had a low front spoiler and was black with only 1000 miles, it had never even been driven in the rain yet. Wes was firm and honest in convincing me that the car would be taken care of. I booked with Wes about a week prior to my ship date, for a Tuesday, I got notice that the car would be picked up on Monday, which was fine with me. The driver Andrei communicated very well and gave me his cell number in case of any questions. They picked up my car in a huge enclosed trailer that had an electric pull on lift so no awkward ramps to deal with, my car may have been the least expensive (at $100,000) on the rig. The car arrived in New Jersey much quicker than I anticipated, as I booked a flight for that Saturday so I needed to have a friend take delivery of it for me. It was in perfect condition, well cared for and I was able to pay with Zelle (and tip) since I was not there in person. Also, besides all of that, the price was half of any of the 6 other quotes I got. Thank you Wes, thank you for your patience with all of my questions, I’m so happy that I trusted you.

Have used Airryd twice for car transportation needs. Found their services through their YouTube videos when I was searching information for car transportation. Was skeptical at first because I never heard of such service, plus previously being bombarded via text and phone by companies looking to move my car before finding Airryd. What made me pay Airryd service fee was the transparency on their site. No fluff, just straight honesty in which I can appreciate.

I didn’t have to deal with multiple phone calls day and night being pitched to. He responds quickly via text with any questions you may have whether that’s day or night. Transportation between myself and the company Airryd finds for me has gone smooth each time. I usually don’t do reviews, but truly wanted to as if anyone who was skeptical at first like my self, can have the confidence that this is a legit and straightforward service. Thank you!

Overall great experience. I was assigned Diesel Auto Express to ship from Maine to Oregon. The drivers were nice, responsible, and communicative. In general I appreciated how AirRyd emphasized that this business requires patience and flexibility which prepared me — for instance my pickup was delayed multiple days due to weather and it arrival one day earlier than expected. Another thing to be aware of was I had to meet the driver at the mall to load my car because he needed a big parking lot so that meant I had to get a ride back home (this was not true on the back end as they transferred it onto a smaller truck that brought it straight to my house). According to my driver, the $89 flat fee is incredibly low for the broker industry so I was happy to hear that!

These guys did a great job helping make the process of moving my car a breeze. After researching several different larger brokerages, stumbled across the same YT Videos others have mentioned, and they are very informative. Once I booked an order with airRyd, my car was setup for transport by the next day! Driver was professional as well. Key points of advice, be flexible, and be sure to manage expectations. Dates are often not exact. But these guys tell it like it is and will help you understand the process. My shipment arrived in exact condition as it was at origin. Great Experience.

Shipped a 2019 Corvette Grand Sport with AirRyd. I would use their services again. They respond quickly and make the move happen. You have to be patient and let the system work. You may have to wait a few days till they can get a truck that's in your area. But in my experience it worked. My car only had 2084 miles on it an pristine. So thankful it was delivered faster than expected once it was booked. 1186 mile trip one way.

Great communication and quick through text. This was my first time shipping my car and found Wes through YouTube. I initially put the wrong pick up date and he was able to change it and find me a truck within 3 days. The truck driver was professional and responsive. My car was picked up on 12 hrs before I left and then my car arrived at the pick up location before me for a couple of hours. The driver and I communicated and agreed upon a time. I think he had some flexibility with timing because he lived at the drop off city. So like Wes says, expect there to be a 2-3 day window of pick up and drop off. I'd highly recommend airRyd to anyone needing transport.
