All during July I kept getting phone calls from Dean Transportation, telling me pick up and drop off times for my son, but for a program he wasn’t going to be in at all! When I let them know they had it wrong, they just kept saying they’d call back. I heard from them 6 times telling me the wrong information. Finally, the day before my son started school, they let me know the real drop off and pick up times. They wanted to pick him up an hour before school started (he is FOUR not in high school) and drop off at 4:05PM. I cancelled the pick up time and kept him riding the bus home. Now a couple weeks into school, they change drop off time to 3:35PM. I am a working single mother, I nanny for two other children. I have to be at another school to pick up one of the kiddos I nanny for at exactly the same time. Dean just said I’m out of luck and there’s nothing that can be done. They would rather my son be pulled from school altogether than to figure out a way to make it work.
