Writing this review becuase we had a very pleasant installation process. Norvell Shane set our home water system the way we wanted it. Taught us how the water system works in detail. Overall very happy with the installation process.

Had a great experience today with my technician Shane. From start to finish, he had me updated with the whole process. He had the answer to any question I had asked. He was very respectful and professional when it came to his job. I even noticed at the end of the job completion. He had picked up the remaining scrap material. There's no better experience when you could rely on a good company like Lifetime Solution - Rainsoft and a good technician as well. If anybody is considering on getting a rain soft system, I would highly recommend it. It's a investment, and it's very nice for your family to experience.

I have gotten repeated phone calls and voicemails from this company for well over a year about an appliance I purchased at Home Depot. I have blocked their number and yet they still call and leave voicemails acting like there is an urgent issue and I need to call them immediately. This is clearly a scam and it is despicable that they feign urgency in order to sell their product.

We are going on 8 years and have yet to purchase any store bought and laundry detergent (your product is soap), or clearer with the gifted $500 credit to by your products. We are overall satisfied with our system. One issues is the rods in the system are expensive to replace when needed.

Our experience with Lifetime Solutions, Inc. was mixed, and I want to share some critical observations for potential customers. While the water softening and reverse osmosis (RO) systems we purchased have been functional, the sales process raised significant concerns. During their in-home presentation, the sales representative used scare tactics centered around water quality to pressure us into a decision. While this wasn’t the sole reason we made the purchase, it was a major influence.

After installation, we raised concerns about the systems, such as the potential for long-term foundation damage caused by consistent water drips. Instead of addressing these issues meaningfully, the staff repeatedly referred us back to their overly long and complex contracts, often saying, “Did you read the whole contract?” Let’s be honest—most of us try our best to read contracts, but theirs was excessively lengthy, with legal jargon that felt deliberately overwhelming. In hindsight, I regret tolerating it.

Transparency was also lacking regarding the broader implications of water softening systems. These systems are increasingly criticized, banned in some states and counties for excessive water waste, and linked to potential damage to city and residential plumbing. On top of that, they downplayed the need for consistent maintenance, which turns out to be significant. Factoring in maintenance costs, it feels like we could have achieved similar results by sticking with bottled water instead of spending $10,000 to drink from the sink and soften our water.

Ultimately, while the product works as promised, the sales process, lack of upfront transparency, and dismissive customer service made this experience less than satisfactory. I’d urge Lifetime Solutions to improve their ethical practices and educate customers about the long-term responsibilities and potential pitfalls of their systems. As soon as we can recover from this financial decision, we will be switching to a more prominent company which are not only half the cost, but also seem to take business ethics and their impact on the environment equally as serious.
