Six years ago I had hired international Sea Shipping to have them pack and send a 100 year old , 8 foot tall antique , that was handmade by my grandfather, to Germany to be restored. They custom made a box for it to shipped in . It shipped to Germany where it went by truck to the its destination, arriving safely. After the restoration was completed I contacted International Sea Shipping again, this time to bring it back home. They handled everything, including the customs requirements, picking it up, transporting it by truck to Rotterdam, and then by ship back to the USA. It arrived back to my home yesterday where they very carefully unpacked the antique and brought it into my home and reassembled it. They took a personal interest in this process keeping me advised as to where it was at any point of its journey and when I could expect it. Thank you Avi and Bryan! All packing materials were removed and my property was left clean. They followed up with a phone call to make sure I was satisfied with their service. I would not hesitate using them again if I ever had the need. I can’t say enough how pleased I was with the service they provided.

I used your services to move from CT to Italy. I was very impressed with the professionalism of your team and movers. I requested to have the container brought to my house, which was a bit challenging to arrange as it was right after the port strike. You kept me updated with any changes to the schedule (which were quite a few!) and ensured I was in the loop.

The crew packed everything carefully and loaded it onto the container efficiently. They were also very nice!

The staff was always friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure that my move went smoothly.

I deeply regret choosing this company for my vehicle and household shipment. From the start, they have been completely unprofessional, disorganized, and misleading.

I initially paid the full amount upfront, with a promised shipping deadline of March 10th. However, they failed to meet this commitment and kept delaying the process, pushing the shipment further with no clear resolution. Now, they claim that they have no control over the shipment, raising the question: why did they demand full payment upfront with a guaranteed deadline in the first place?

To make matters worse, my vehicle has been parked at a private residence in San Jose since January 31st, despite being told it would be moved to a warehouse within days. Leaving my car in an unsecured location for months poses significant risks and liabilities, yet they have shown no urgency in addressing this or offering any real solution. If something happens to my car, they will be fully responsible.

On top of this, their lack of transparency and accountability has forced me into additional expenses. Due to their delays, I have had to pay for a rental car and a furnished house while waiting indefinitely for my shipment. And as if their delays weren’t bad enough, they later introduced hidden costs, pushing the total price close to $20,000, well beyond what was originally agreed upon. This is nothing short of a predatory practice, taking advantage of customers who have already committed to their service.

Every time I request an update, I am met with vague answers, excuses, and new deadlines that they fail to honor. Now, they have provided a new estimated shipping date of March 27th, but given their track record, I have no confidence that they will follow through.

This company’s operations are completely unreliable. Their failure to take responsibility, honor commitments, communicate professionally, and their dishonest pricing tactics have caused me significant financial and logistical stress. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to stay away and choose a reputable shipping company instead.

We used International Sea & Air Shipping for our October / November 2024 move from the USA to Germany. We are completely satisfied with their service - both in the USA and Germany. Our contact, Jeanine, responded promptly (weekends included) to any questions that we had. Our household was packed by them, picked up, shipped via truck to a warehouse, shipped by train to the port in Norfolk VA, shipped in a sea container to Germany, delivered into our house and unpacked without any items missing or damaged.
Their price was actually lower than most of their competition.
Would absolutely use them again.

5 stars all around. After a quick search on the internet, I chose internationalmoving.com to relocate my family from Madison, WI to Copenhagen, Denmark. We knew there were some larger items we wanted to bring with us. Right from the start, they showed me they were professionals. The process went smooth, there were no hiccups and the communication was flawless. When there was a port strike in the US, Jeanine notified me right away that she would keep me updated once the container started moving. They answered all my questions and made sure I knew everything I needed to do before pickup. We had our goods picked up in Madison on September 23 and they arrived to our doorstep December 21. This was even quicker than estimated which was a bonus. The company who handled our goods after they arrived overseas in the Netherlands were also very professional and had a really nice website to help with the process. It took a little bit of time after our stuff cleared customs before we received a delivery date, but it is a busy time of year. Everything arrived intact and nothing was damaged. I completely recommend this company if you are going to be moving long distance.
